Girls’ Generation holds first fan meeting in Japan



Hallyu star group Girls’ Generation held their first fan meeting since the release of their Japanese debut “Playing with Girls’ Generation” on Tuesday, in the Yoyogi First National Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan.

According to Japanese media reports, Girls’ Generation sang three of their hits, including “Gee”, “Oh!” and “Flower Power”, a new song, for the 10,000 fans who were invited to the event held in commemoration of the release of single “Flower Power” (on Nov. 21) and Girls’ Generation 2 (on Nov.28).

During the meeting, five groups, including “Ladies’ Generation”, consisting of housewives with an average age of 48, Children’s Generation, with an average age of 8, and “Inaho Generation”, consisting only of men, danced along with Girls’ Generation to the hit songs, raising the temperature at the venue.

Seohyun, a member of the group, said about the children’s dance, “I want to have a baby like them after marriage.” YoonA said, “We like to learn their prettiness.”
