Girls' Generation will be performing at the inaugural Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) TV Festival on October 14th. Hosted by KBS, the event will take place at the KBS Concert Hall in Yeouido, Seoul.
According to the festival website, the event commemorate the “celebration representing the geographical and cultural expanse of the Asia-Pacific region.” The festival aims to “promote and strengthen cultural diversity the universal allure of ,” and to “develop the international profile of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union.”
The ABU TV Festival will showcase musical talents from the different member organizations of the ABU. Girls' Generation has the honor of representing Korea and KBS and alongside solo artists and musical groups the Asia-Pacific region.
