Member changes planned for ‘Invincible Youth 2′

Invincible Youth 2 will be undergoing some changes soon!
With its recent time slot changeKBS2′s ‘Invincible Youth 2‘ will also go through program and format changes, which includes a change in its member line-up.
Starting April 7th, ‘Invincible Youth 2′ will begin airing at 5:15PM KST.  It was originally broadcast at 11:05pm but with the cancellation of ‘Birth of a Family,’ it will take over the latter’s time slot.  With the change, it will now compete against SBS’ ‘Star Junior Show‘ and MBC’s ‘We Got Married.’
‘Birth of a Family’ has been slow in the ratings department and ‘Invincible Youth 2′ is not garnering the same interest that it had in its first season, so there is concern about where the show is headed.  Because of this a staff member said that starting April there will be a format change as well as a change in its MC and G8 members.
Staff member CP Kim Ho Sung commented, “With the time change, there will be a change in the program structure and the MC and girl group members. But there is nothing set for certain and we are still discussing the matter.”
Seems like a lot of plans will be revealed on April 7th.

It was just revealed that Lee Soo Geun and Ji Hyun Woo will both leave the show while Boom will remain. The duo will record their final episode on March 28th. Discussions are on-going on the possibility of inserting idol boy group members and the replacements for the outgoing duo.
Update #2
Exclusively from Star NewsSNSD’s Sunny and Hyoyeon will reportedly also leave due to overseas activities. Meanwhile, Lee Soo Geun’s departure was due to the fact that he wanted to spend more time with his family and concentrate on other programs at hand. Meanwhile, Ji Hyun Woo is busy with filming for his new drama, “Queen In Hyun’s Man” and decided to leave to avoid schedules clashing.
Update #3
Sports Seoul reports that Season 1 MC, Kim Shin Young will return but there’s no official confirmation.
Update #4
SM Entertainment has revealed to mydaily that the earlier news report from Star News regarding SNSD’s Sunny and Hyoyeon departure from the show are unfounded and not true.
Update #5
Star News has confirmation from Sidus HQ that Kim Shin Young has signed on and will record her first episode for “Invincible Youth 2″ starting next Wednesday, April 4th. Kim Shin Young was a big success on the previous season with her great entertainment sense and chemistry with the cast members.
It was also revealed that Kim had was asked to helm “Invincible Youth 2″ from the start. But because it clashed with her schedule as a fixed cast for MBC’s “Quiz that Changes the World” which also aired on Saturday night, she had to decline. But with the new time slot for “Invincible Youth 2″, it was now possible with KBS moving quickly to sign her on.
