SNSD, TVXQ & Other KPOP Stars Gathered In Gyeongju 20,000 People Went Wild


KPOP stars heated up an autumn night in Gyeongju.

Celebrating the 2010-2012 Visit Korea Year with a Hallyu Festival, the [2011 Hallyu Dream Concert] was held in Gyeongju as an affiliated event. Actress Park Shin Hye, 2PM's Taecyeon and SHINee's Minho were the emcees.

At 6pm on 3 October, the performing artistes who lighted up the Gyeongju Civic Stadium were SNSD, TVXQ, 2PM, Miss A, SHINee, GD&TOP, BEAST, 4Minute, Secret, IU, SISTAR, T-ARA, A Pink, Kim Bo Kyung, Gil Hak Mi, SE7EN, ZE;A, Kim Gun Mo, MBLAQ, Seo In Guk and Jang Jae In.

[Hallyu Dream Concert] has been held in Gyeongju for 2 consecutive years and due to the hot reaction around the world in response to the KPOP Wave, this year's stage performances were even more brilliant and the seats were filled by foreign fans who came from many countries.


The 2.5 hours of performances by KPOP stars was kicked off by ZE:A with their song [Heart for You]. One of the highlights in the first half was GD&TOP, whio have made their entrance into the Japanese market previously, and they gave brilliant performances of [High High] and [Oh Yeah].

The opening for the second half was done by T-ARA, who revived the retro whirlwind with their song [Roly Poly]. This was followed by the representative KPOP Wave stars like SHINee, SNSD, 2PM and TVXQ, to the heightened cheers from the foreign fans in the audience.

The ending was an exceptional performance by forerunner KPOP star Kim Gun Mo, with his new song [Today that hurts more than yesterday] as well as a medley of his hit songs.

Following that, as the finale for the [Hallyu Dream Concert], all the artistes came on stage and sang [Arirang] together.
