SNSD to have worldwide comeback through Universal Music Group


With the intense anticipations brought by the group's upcoming comeback, Girls' Generation officially announced the worldwide release of their album in the U.S. through the world leading Universal Music Group.

On October 12th, SM Entertainment revealed that Girls’ Generation will release a maxi single, “The Boys”, in November through Interscope Records, a label under Universal Music Group whose current artists include Lady Gaga, Eminem, and the Black Eyed Peas.

Together with Universal Music Group, “The Boys” will be released not only in the U.S., as well in Europe, South America, and all over the world.

Prior to the worldwide release, Girls’ Generation altered their schedule and have finalized it to release “The Boys” on the 19th. Also on October 19th, is the worlwide iTunes release, music video premiere on SM’s official YouTube channel and Facebook page and the physical album release in Korea.

Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation will be kicking off their much awaited comeback on KBS Music Bank on October 21st.
