For her birthday, SNSD’s Seohyun agreed to be interviewed by a major Korean daily, Sports Hankook. As part of her interview, the newspaper turned the tables by asking Seohyun to play the role of a reporter; Seohyun was to create a few fake news articles that could potentially come up someday.
The birthday girl answered by creating three fake headlines that she wanted to see in the future:
> “A Girl’s Generation Cure-All”
“I’d like for our music to touch as many people as possible. I hope that one day, there will be news about how our music healed the world of pain and suffering.”
> “SNSD Holds Their First World Tour”
“All of our members said that after the SMTOWN Live concert, they wanted to go to other European countries, such as England, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, etc. I want to go outside Europe as well. If we can hold a world tour, the whole world will be a girl’s generation.”
> “SNSD’s Seohyun Starts a Foundation for Disadvantaged Kids”
“I’d like to create a charity or a foundation with my name on it. I want to give children who grow up in bad situations the chance to realize their dreams. I’m planning on starting it in my 30’s, and it will start out small rather than fancy and sparkling.”
