SNSD appeared on Korean middle school textbook

Recently, in an online community, pictures of SNSD in music textbooks from 2nd grade middle school were uploaded.

In the textbook, SNSD are introduced as representative of idol groups, and the singers of new generation. Their group photos during “HaHaHa Song” and “Gee” are in the textbook along with the introduction.

Beneath the pictures, there is a caption stating “New generations of artists’ appearances and the rise of media resulting in the rise of dance music. Also, idol groups now play the pivotal role on Korea’s music industry.”

Those who came across this picture commented “Oh my god. It’s real. The picture is in page 75″, “I suddenly have an urge to buy the textbook…keke”, “Idols really do have a great influence. Appearing on textbook? We used to only have pictures of lakes, mountains, and grass in our textbook.”

Other netizens commented “Chocolate, the phone SNSD endorsed, is also in the latest edition of our Science textbook” and “You can also find SNSD’s ‘Gee’ and ‘Into The New World’ in high school textbooks”. etc.
