SM Entertainment has been picked as the "Power Man" of the celebrity industry. 100 professionals were asked to pick the best of many categories, and SM Entertainment received 28 votes, making them the "2010 Entertainment Power Man." Not only so, but Girls' Generation received the "This Year's Star Daesang." This is the first time that a company has gotten both the "Star Daesang" and "Power Man".

Second place went to CJ Entertainment with 21 votes, a mere 7 votes behind SM Entertainment. CJ Entertainment does not have celebrities, but it is the dominant powerhouse in distributing movies and DVDs in Korea. This year it saw its biggest success with "Mister".

Third place went to MNet with 14 votes, most likely because of its Super Star K. However, because MNet is a branch of CJ Corporate just as CJ Entertainment is, if the two votes are combined CJ Corporate overtakes SM Entertainment.

Girls' Generation was 1st in the "Star Daesang" with 36 votes, but also entered the "Power Man" rankings with 6 votes, the only non-company name to be on the list. Wonbin was second with 19 votes, and Jang Hyuk was 3rd with 6 votes. They were also first in "This Year's Singer" with 55 votes. JYP Entertainment's representative also voted for Girls' Generation instead of his company's 2PM or Wonder Girls, showing just how successful the girls were this year.

Wonbin won 1st place in "This Year's Actor" with 35 points, and Kang Hodong won 1st place in "This Year's Comedian" with 23 points. "This Year's Song" went to miss A's "Bad Girl Good Girl" with 26 votes, KBS 2TV Happy Sunday's "Qualifying Men" obtained 1st place in "This Year's TV Program" with 18 votes, and "Mister" won "This Year's Movie" with 47 votes.

Do you agree with these rankings?
