Netizens are curious of why “Jessica” is among the top searches on Korea’s domestic portal sites today, October 8th.
Since 3pm today, the keyword “Jessica” has steadily appeared on the top searches and only issue makers are able to explain the actual reason behind this phenomenon.
Usually news related to Jessica would have connection with SNSD’s news as well but surprisingly, the no. of searches for “SNSD” was not as high as for Jessica alone. This unusual result sparked confusion and aroused curiosity among netizens.
Following this, some netizens carried out online investigations and came up with a conclusion that it was in fact the opinions and comments on web advertisement which featured Jessica that attracted high number of searches within a short period of time.
On the result of the investigation, some netizens commented in admiration, “It’s because of SNSD’s Jessica too”.
