Girls’ Generation – TTS Wins ‘STYLE ICON’ Bonsang Award and Performs ‘Holler’ at ‘2014 Style Icon Awards’

On October 28th, Girls’ Generation – TTS attended Mnet’s “2014 Style Icon Awards” at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul. At least year’s “2013 Style Icon Awards“, Sunny and Sooyoung were attendees at the event with Sooyoung winning the “Best K-Style” award. The day before the show, Tiffany posted a picture and caption on her Instagram account expressing her excitement about being invited to the awards ceremony due to the tremendous fan support.

Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun arrived in their own styles, with a common theme of the color gold for their outfits. The trio posed for pictures for press members while also later taking part in a short interview about their fashion and styles. During the awards ceremony, Girls’ Generation – TTS, described as “The Role Model for All Unit Groups”, was chosen for one of the ten “STYLE ICON” bonsang awards for 2014. Other winners included Kim Soohyun, Kim Heeae, Jo Insung, Yoo Yeonseok, Park Haejin, Go Ara, SISTAR’s Soyu, g.o.d, and 4Minute. Girls’ Generation – TTS also was one of the special performers for the “2014 Style Icon Awards”. Sooyoung and Kam Woo Sung are 'just married' in stills from 'My Spring Day'

It looks like a happy ending is in store for Girls' Generation's Sooyoung and Kam Woo Sung on 'My Spring Day'!

The drama's production company Dream E&M unveiled stills of Sooyoung and Kam Woo Sung going on their honeymoon on Jeju Island in a truck with the sign that reads, 'Just Married.'

A rep stated, "We wanted to portray the happiest time for Kang Dong Ha and Lee Bom Yi in that moment... The Bom-Dong couple do their best to live life to the fullest despite not knowing how long they will live for, portraying a touching story."

'My Spring Day' shares emotional behind-cuts of the leads as finale approaches

With only two more episodes left, 'My Spring Day' unveiled emotional behind-cuts ofGirls' Generation's Sooyoung and Kam Woo Sung that left viewers ready to shed tears as the finale approaches.

Sooyoung was seen perfecting her role as a patient with toned-down makeup, and portraying her character's positive attitude even with the knowing that her days may be few. Kang Dong Ha (Kam Woo Sung) said to Lee Bom Yi (Sooyoung) in the previous episode, "I'll be happy if I live just one day or even one minute together, so live with me,"showing their strong bond as portrayed in the behind-cuts.

The drama's production company Dream E&M rep stated, "Sooyoung has a special affection for Bom Yi. She does her best to channel her character whenever and wherever. That is why she even prettier and lovable [when she does that]... The cast and staff are working hard to give hope and touch hearts with two episodes left. Please look forward to it."

‘Apple Daily’ Interviews Jessica About BLANC & ECLARE

“Apple Daily”: The brand BLANC & ECLARE has been established for two months; what are you hoping for?

Jessica: I’d like to take it one step at a time, slowly developing my career. I want to do something similar to other people sharing their wardrobes; right now it’s sunglasses, and later there will be other products. I hope every woman will use the things I’ve designed.

“Apple Daily”: You have expanded overseas, including to South Korea, China, SINGAPORE

, etc. Is there a place you would most like to expand your business to?

Jessica: Right now, I want to expand in Asia the most, but before long, I would like to expand to the United States; I would like to bring my brand to New York and my favorite department store, Barneys.

“Apple Daily”: How does it feel after becoming a designer? Which designers do you most want to work with? Where do you get your inspiration from?

Jessica: I feel really great and really excited; since I was little, my dream was to become designer. I really respect designers, and would like to collaborate with every single one of them. I often travel and observe what people are wearing. And my biggest inspiration is my mom; from my younger days until now, she still picks and combines my outfits. She is my design icon.

“Apple Daily”: Now that you are focusing on your career, do you have any expectations toward relationships?

Jessica: I think getting married is a very important part of life; I would like to get married while continuing to work, but these two things have to be balanced.

“Apple Daily”: What is your ideal type? Your ideal age for marriage?

Jessica: (smiles sweetly) I’d like someone who can make me laugh, someone smart and gentle, and most importantly, someone I can trust, because trust is the foundation of a relationship. My ideal age for marriage is 30 years old.

“Apple Daily”: Do you often share your problems with your little sister Krystal (member of girl group f(x))? And do you talk with her about your designs?

Jessica: We talk about a lot of things, and we often send funny photos to each other, and eat together, because we are food sisters. I will ask her for design advice. We’re five and a half years apart; she’s still young, so I’ll ask her about young people’s viewpoints. We’ll always be sisters, so there are a lot of things we understand about each other.

“Apple Daily”: What are your future goals for the entertainment industry?

Jessica: I can’t disclose a lot of things, but I would like to continue singing and acting, and having more opportunities to meet with fans. I also have an interest in honing my skills in filming for movies and dramas.

“Apple Daily”: Now that you’re facing a different job by yourself, what is the biggest challenge? Do you feel really pressured?

Jessica: I debuted as a very shy person, not understanding how to do an interview, but now I have to face the media one-on-one. I’m not very used to this, and before, when I didn’t speak, people would think I wasn’t happy; now I have to overcome this difficulty, and it is a challenge as well.

Taeyeon Shares Photos Using New Instagram Account

On March 17th, Taeyeon opened an Instagram account and, to the delight of fans, has begun to share photos with her rapidly growing list of followers. Instagram is a photo-sharing service that allows users to quickly take pictures and share them through the internet.

Taeyeon continues to upload new images to her Instagram, ranging from a snapshot of her shoes to a photo of a road in Japan. Taeyeon also posted a message in an image, in which she explained why she chose to begin using Instagram. Her message reads:

Everyone! This is Taeyeon from Japan~

I am always looking for ways to interact with you all, and I want to share happy news with you all the time!

I’ve always used the official homepage and UFOtown but I felt that was missing… something?

(There are lots of small things that I want to share from time to time)

But it’s not like I can spam the official homepage… that’s just not right ㅜ

and UFOtown is just me receiving questions to answer..

I thought… it would be nice if I could ask you questions as well ^^

I know exactly what everyone is worried about right now.

I also don’t want me or anyone close to me to be hurt..

The reason I started Instagram was to be closer with you all!

The time I spend outside of Korea increases

and because of that, the number of international SONEs increases.

I wanted to… share more simple, interesting, trivial things.

I will uploads pictures like everyone else!

It’s very similar to the official page. The only difference is that the main topic is Taeyeon.
