Yuri Walks Red Carpet and Wins 'Popularity Award' at ’50th Baeksang Art Awards’

Earlier today, Yuri attended a red carpet event for the “50th Baeksang Art Awards”, held at Kyunghee University. Dressed in a white outfit, Yuri posed for photos by the media, seen below.

For this year’s “Baeksang Art Awards”, Yuri has been nominated in the “Popularity Award” category for female actresses in film with her role in “No Breathing”. Last year, Yuri received the “Popularity Award” for female actresses in television at the “49th Baeksang Art Awards”. Fellow Girls’ Generation member Yoona was also nominated in this year’s “Baeksang Art Awards” for the “Popularity Award” for female actresses in television, but is not scheduled to attend the ceremony.

Jessica calls Krystal 'ugly' in new teaser clip + the reason why

In the D-8 teaser clip for their upcoming reality show, Jessica and Krystal are being silly inside a car.

Jessica suddenly called Krystal "Ya you're ugly!" in which Krystal replied, "Is that so.. aww ugly," and laughed among themselves.

However, Jessica made herself clear through a weibo post as she explained that Krystal is her very pretty sister that's why she can call her 'ugly' but pointed out that only her can call her that and even wrote, "If you call her like that, I'll look for you," showing her protective side.

Sooyoung reveals her bare face in a morning call to fans

Girls' Generation's Sooyoung proved to be gorgeous even with no make up on as she takes a selca in the morning to greet her fans.

The picture was posted onto her Instagram on May 23 along with the caption, "Good morning, Kobe.  Please take care of us for three days," as Girls' Generation will be embarking on an arena tour through six places in Japan for a total of 12 concerts until the end of June.  

In her selca, she is wearing cute pajamas as she smiles and waves at the camera. Despite apparently having just woken up, she looks bright, cheery, and gorgeous without make up.  Who wouldn't want perfectly glowing skin like that right after a good night's sleep?

Girls’ Generation to Release ‘Best Album’ in Japan

Girls’ Generation’s Japanese fansite has informed fans through e-mail that Girls’ Generation will release a “Best Album” in Japan on July 23rd. The album will include the group’s hit tracks and new songs, as well as behind-the-scenes videos with footage starting from Girls’ Generation’s debut in Japan in 2010. More details on the “Best Album” will be announced at a later date.

Girls’ Generation is currently in the midst of the “LOVE&PEACE” Japan tour, which began on April 26th. The concert tour will continue through July of this year.

Taeyeon gets criticized at the airport by a particular news site

The photo news about SNSD Taeyeon's behavior at the airport by a particular news site has ranked on the top of the articles.

On May 22, SNSD members arrived at Gimpo airport to depart for Japan. Media were as usual taking the girls' airport fashion. However, they caught Taeyeon covering her face. Afterwards, a particular article was posted by the news site titled, "Why is she the only one acting like this?" followed by a series of photos showing Taeyeon wearing a comfy dress looking fresh while covering and avoiding the camera.

Fans were quick to defend their idol by commenting, "You're shoving your camera with flashed on her face.","How rude flashing their cameras to Taeyeon's face.","Even a non-celebrity would be pissed of by these journalist.","Don't start any issue from this.","Wow this article even made it to the top?"
