Taeyeon is the ideal type of football players

Girls' Generarion Taeyeon was chosen as the ideal type by Korean football players, surpassing Kim Tae Hee and Miss A's Suzy.

In a recent release of '2013 K-LEAGUE Official Guide', a survey on ideal type was conducted among Korean football players. 540 out of 755 players chose Taeyeon as their ideal type.

Subsequently, Kim Tae Hee and Kim Sa Rang came up at second and third place. Miss A's Suzy and Lee Min Jung at fourth place. In addition, Han Hyo Joo and Moon Chae Won also received a lot of votes.

Upon hearing this, Taeyeon responded,"I can't believe it, but I feel very happy" and "Usually,I like playing football too"

SNSD, Big Bang, CNBLUE, T-ara and IU dominate Oricon Charts

K-pop big names including Girls’ Generation (SNSD), Big Bang, CNBLUE, T-ara and IU have reigned supreme on the Japan’s Oricon Charts.

T-ara sat at the #2 spot of the Oricon daily single chart with their new single, “Bunny Style” after selling 40,705 copies since its release on March 20. The group also left for Japan to officially begin their Japan activities.

Girls’ Generation’s remix album ‘Best Selection Non Stop Mix’ album ranked #4 Oricon’s daily album chart, while IU‘s mini-album ‘Can You Hear Me?’ reached #9 on the same chart.

Big Bang sat atop the Oricon’s daily DVD Chart with the DVD recording their ‘BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR 2012 IN JAPAN SPECIAL FINAL IN DOME.’ CNBLUE also nabbed the #2 position of the same chart with their ‘Arena Tour 2012 ~COME ON!!!~’ DVD.

Sooyoung warns fans against fake accounts

Sooyoung recently left a message for her fans on Girls’ Generation’s official website, warning them about fake SNS accounts of the members.

Girls' Generation, T-ara, IU, TVXQ & SHINee make it onto Oricon’s Top 10

As expected of a worldwide phenomenon, some of your favorite K-pop artists, including T-ara, Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, SHINee, and IU, have made it into the ‘Top 10′ of Japan’s Oricon chart

T-ara is currently the highest ranking K-pop artist on the chart as #2 on the Oricon daily single chart with their new single, “Bunny Style“, selling 40,705 copies. The group will be releasing a photo book on the 28th.

Girls’ Generation’s ‘Best Selection Non Stop Mix‘ album ranked #4 on Oricon’s daily album chart, while IU‘s mini-album ‘Can You Hear Me?‘ reached #9 on the same chart.

SHINee, who recently made a comeback, ranked #5 on Oricon’s weekly single chart for the second week of March with “Fire“. TVXQ also ranked #6 on the Oricon weekly album chart with the album ‘TIME‘, which is a drop from their previous #1 ranking on the chart the previous week.

The animated version of ‘Winter Sonata‘s memorial album ranked 1st on the daily album chart as well.

Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung updated fans and warned them about accounts impersonating her and her members.

Sooyoung shared on SMTOWN, “Everyone^-^~♥ Are you doing well? It sounds like spring is coming~ hehe. Should we walk as the flowers fall along the path? hehe I heard Korea is very coldㅠㅅㅠ Don’t become careless because spring is coming, and please be careful of catching a cold!!^^”

Girls’ Generation‘s Jessica showed a bit of skin as she boldly bared her abs for ‘W Korea‘ magazine!

The stunning idol modeled apparel from ‘rag & bone‘s collection for this ‘chic New Yorker’ concept. Jessica also tweaked her ‘ice princess’ image a little bit by adding some hipster flare with her beanie and pinstripe outfits.

Taeyeon finally graced her fans with a selca in her pajamas, writing, “Today we released ‘Girls’ Generation Best Selection Non Stop Mix’! Mixed by Taku Takahashi from m-flo! Taku-san, Thank you so much :)“. She winked and pursed her lips slightly to make a cute expression.
