Girls' Generation Voted First in Online Poll!

Recently, Girls’ Generation was chosen by students as the first singer they would like to see after their College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). This poll was conducted on an online music portal site, Monkey3 from the 27th of October until the 2nd of November.

In this poll, Girls’ Generation won an astounding 57% (290) out of the 510 votes, and easily took the top spot. Comments made by the people who voted, include “I want to relieve all the stress I piled up from studying by seeing Girls’ Generation” and “I heard that ‘The Boys’ performance is amazing, live, so I want to see it for once.”

Idol Group, Infinite, came in 2nd with 14% of the votes, and Big Bang came in3rd with 13% of the votes. IU received 12% of the votes, and in 5th and 6th place, was Secret and UV respectively with 3% and 2%.

Girl's Generation Graces Mnet 2011 Style Icon Awards

On the night of the 3rd of November, the members of Girls’ Generation made an appearance at the Mnet 2011 Style Icon Award. Turning up in varying designs of black and gold, the girls heated up the red carpet with their arrival. As usual, they lived up to their titles of fashionistas and turned heads as they walked down the red carpet.

Tiffany’s sparkly gold blouse in particular, caught the eye of many as she made her way down the red carpet with the rest of Girls’ Generation. Also, Sunny’s newly cut hair makes an appearance and wows like usual as she manages to pull the boyish yet feminine look off flawlessly. Check out the rest of the photos here! (from soshified)

“青春不败2” 团体照片公开！

近日在某网络社区论坛上挂有一篇以““青春不败2团员集体大合照”为标题的文章以及照片吸引了许多网友们的关注。


如上述照片中所显示一样读者们可以看见KBS电视台即将开播的节目“青春不败2”的固定演员们的合照。照片中当中包裹了3名主持人 池贤宇，Boom 以及 李秀根 还有8名G8一起合照。


“青春不败2”的第一集将会在11月12号开始放送。

Gaon Chart releases 4th week of October rankings

The Gaon Chart released the rankings for last week of October. Gaon Chart is the national chart of South Korea and is the equivalent of Oricon in Japan and Billboard in the U.S.

Girls Generation still going strong as they led the country during the week of October 23rd to 29th with their comeback track "The Boys" which was released on the 18th.

Noel, which marks their return after four years, debuted on second place with their comeback track "I Miss You". And completing the top three was Tablo's latest song "Bad" featuring Jinsil.

For the Gaon's album chart, Girls Generation's third full-length album landed atop again, making it the second consecutive week for the record to achieve the feat.
