Who says water can’t turn into cofee?


Magician Choi Hyunwoo’s magic show had SNSD members stunned.

On the recently recorded episode of SBS “Star King”, the girls participated in the magic show performed by Choi Hyunwoo. YoonA was shocked to see the clear water in the jug she held turned into pitch-black coffee. Besides the color change, YoonA was also surprised by the aroma emitted from the coffee.

Sunny on the other hand, was asked by Hyunwoo to sign on a card. Using his magic skills, Hyunwoo placed the signed card in a water bottle without opening it.

Catch the girls and Choi Hyunwoo’s brilliant magic act on SBS Star King which will be aired at 6.30pm KST on November 27th.

Soshi participate in donation to help Thailand flood victims

According to Korea-Thailand Communication Centre (KTCC) Korean stars donated their goods for a charity event, ‘Korea Festival 2010‘ which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from November 30th to December 5th.

More than 130 Korean stars made their donations for the event. They are Lee Minho, Lee Joonki, Lee Jungjae, Lee Dahae, Ha Jungwoo, Kim SunA, Kim Raewon, Jo Hyunjae, Gong Yu, Kang Hodong, Lee Soogeun, Super Junior, SNSD, Brown Eyed Girls, TVXQ’s Yunho and Changmin and many others. “Winter Sonata” and “Autumn In My Heart”‘s Yoon Sukho PD as well as “Full House”‘s Pyo Minsoo PD also supported the event by making donations respectively.

The ‘Korea Festival 2010′ is organized by The Ministry of Culture Thailand and the aim is to provide help to 3 million victims who were affected by the recent flood in Thailand.

Girl Group SNSD member Sunny's sudden hair bob transformation are stirring curiosity from fans.

Sunny's dramatically short hairstyle appeared on the last 20th broadcast MBC “Music Core”.

Sunny on this day showed her long hair made into a wavy hairstyle transformation, emphasizing her as loving and cute

The transformation matched their single ‘Hoot’ activity, however Sunny's sudden hairstyle change is offering curiosity.

After the broadcast, netizens said “Sunny’s hairstyle fits her so well,” “Her long hairstyle was cute, but her bob hairstyle is cuter,” were such reactions. “Maybe Sunny has other activities planned?”, “Sunny looks different. But why all of a sudden?” “Maybe for Japan activities she changed. That’s a really nice blonde bob,” were some of the reactions.

Battle of the cards!!

Recently, ‘New Korean Wave Craze’ sparks an off-the-stage battle of star cards between SNSD and Kara. SNSDand TVXQ’s Star Collection Cards were launched in December 2009. Besides the fact that these cards are convenient to carry around, the fun and excitement in collecting rare and limited edition cards are among the important contributors to its popularity among fans.

The hot topic about the ‘showdown’ came up following the release of Kara’s own line of star cards, shortly afterSNSD’s Volume 2.5 cards were unveiled. SNSD’s Volume 2.5 Star Collection Cards highlight the girls’ energetic and youthful image. Kara’s Volume 1 Star Collection Card has 105 cards in total, giving out a strong and stylish feel about them.

There has been explosive response and interest in these Star Collection Cards, particularly in Japan.

‘CF Queens’ SNSD to skip 2010 Korea Advertising Conference

SNSD will be absent from 2010 Korea Advertising Conference.

The girls will be awarded the Best Advertising Models Award by Korea’s Federation of Advertising Association. The conference will be held at Lotte Hotel in Songpa-gu, Seoul at 6.30pm KST on November 24th but the girls will not be attending as they are currently in Japan.

When contacted by Newsen, the organizer of the conference said in a teleconversation, “SNSD will not be attending. We are planning to convey a simple video message from them”.

Meanwhile, SG Wannabe and 4minute will be participating in this event.

SNSD’s photo spread in SPUR Magazine

The ladies of SNSD / Girls’ Generation officially debuted in Japan back on September 8th with the release of ‘Genie’ and ever since then, the girls have experienced a lot of popularity in the country. To further their promotions in Japan, the girls recently appeared in the latest issue of SPUR Magazine.
