Update: Girls’ Generation Releases New Japanese Song and Music Video, ‘DIVINE’

Girls’ Generation has released the music video for “DIVINE” through docomo. A video message from Tiffany is also included in the post.

Girls’ Generation has released a new Japanese song titled “DIVINE”. The song was made available for purchase through online music stores earlier today. Users who purchase the song are eligible to enter a lottery for tickets to Girls’ Generation’s “THE BEST LIVE” concert at Tokyo Dome on December 9th. For more information (in Japanese), click here.

Girls’ Generation’s official Japanese Twitter account also announced that a music video will soon be released for “DIVINE”. The tweet described the video as being unique and different from the usual music video.

MBC has continued to reveal various clips from Sooyoung’s drama, “Springtime of My Life”. Along with cuts from episodes six and seven, a preview for next week’s show was also released. TaeTiSeo says they didn't like their unit's name

TaeTiSeo members confessed that they didn't like their subunit's name and also their group name at first.

In the broadcast of KBS's 'Entertainment Weekly' on September 27th, TaeTiSeo made their appearance in the 'Guerilla Date' segment. When the reporter asked if they came up with their unit's name themselves, Tiffany frankly said,"No, we didn't really like the name. We were wondering if the unit name should be 'Twinkle' or something but our company said we should just go with 'TaeTiSeo'. We didn't believe that the name which was written on our schedule (Tae, Ti, Seo, Yoon, Sun...as abbreviation for their names) would end up being our group's name, but it really happened".

Seohyun said,"At first we complained about it a lot", Tiffany continued,"We called ourselves as 'T.T.S' just like our seniors SES but the team director just said,"No, TaeTiSeo is perfect". It's the same for Girls' Generation. When we first heard the name, we responsed,"Really Girls' Generation?". After all the years that we trained and we were going to be called as Girls' Generation? But now, we feel thankful towards the team director".

Girls' Generation's 'The Boys' MV surpasses 100 million views on Youtube

Girls' Generation has officially reached 100 million views after 3 years.

Following 'Gee' which already surpassed 100 million views last July, 'The Boys', which was released in October 2011, is the 2nd MV of Girls' Generation to have the same achievement as off today on September 28th. In addition, 'Mr,Taxi' is expected to become their 3rd MV to make the same record as it's currently having over 90 million views.

Congratulation to Girls' Generation! Let's watch 'The Boys' once again.

TaeTiSeo reveal they hated their group name at first

TaeTiSeo shared the story behind their group name and meeting with Kang Dong Won during their guerilla date KBS 2TV's 'Entertainment Relay'!

When asked, "Did the three of you also come up with your group name yourselves?", Tiffany revealed, "No. I really didn't like it. We were wondering whether we should name our group, 'Twinkle', or something else. [But our agency said] Just do 'TaeTiSeo'. I didn't think that the name on our schedule [which was normally written as 'Tae-Ti-Seo' as an abbreviation for their names on their schedules] would actually end up being our [group name]... It's similar to the case of Girls' Generation. When we first heard [that our name was Girls' Generation], we responded, 'Girls' Generation? What? After all those years that we trained...' But now we're thankful to our team director."

When asked if they got to see Kang Dong Won in person for his movie 'My Brilliant Life', Taeyeon shared, "I have been a fan of his since a long time ago." Tiffany revealed that when she told him that Taeyeon was a fan, he was chic and too shy to say anything. Seohyun added, "When we were talking amongst ourselves, saying how handsome [Kang Dong Won] is, the way [Taeyeon] unni's eyes looked at me...", revealing that Taeyeon also has her fangirling moments of jealousy.

When asked to grade their group in different categories, TaeTiSeo gave themselves a 'soo' (similar to what an 'A' grade is) for singing ability, visuals, interest in men, and observation of other girl groups. They also gave themselves a 'yang' (similar to what a 'D' grade is) for variety show skills and between a 'mee' (similar to a 'C' grade) and 'yang' for sexiness.

When asked what about them is sexy, Tiffany commented, "Our confidence. I hope you may see the energy we show during performances as sexiness... We will work hard."

Yoona Attends ‘Innisfree Play Green Festival 2014′

On September 27, Yoona attended Innisfree’s “Play Green Festival 2014″, held in the Seochu district of Seoul. Yoona attended the event with a casual look, wearing jeans and a white top as she posed for photos by the press.

Earlier this year, Innisfree launched several commercials with Yoona for its “Play Green” campaign. These CFs may be seen on the Innisfree YouTube channel.
