Rumors of Girls' Generation's Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho dating resurface in 'Woman Sense' magazine

Rumors that Girls' Generation's Sooyoung and actor Jung Kyung Ho are dating broke out earlier this year, and SM Entertainment quickly denied that there was any truth to the talk.

However, gossip released in the November issue of 'Woman Sense' magazine that hit shelves today on October 23 has fanned the flames once again. The magazine wrote, "Jung Kyung Ho and Girls' Generation's Sooyoung have been dating for 1 year. His girlfriend is not a non-celebrity; it's Sooyoung."

An alleged overseas date between the two stars was also revealed. According to 'Woman Sense', as Sooyoung has been busy touring with Girls' Generation in Japan, Jung Kyung Ho flew over for a surprise event. One insider told the magazine, "Because of Girls' Generation's tour in Japan, they weren't able to see each other for a while. They communicated through their Facebook timelines, and then Jung Kyung Ho flew over to Japan and surprised Sooyoung."

Allegedly, he also rented out an entire restaurant on Sooyoung's birthday, so they could celebrate privately. The insider said, "It was the first birthday they celebrated together after they started dating. They wanted time to themselves, so an entire restaurant was reserved."

A previous statement by Jung Kyung Ho on the JTBC show 'Witch Hunt' is also causing suspicion. He stated, "I'm not sure what my girlfriend's job is," to which host Shin Dong Yup responded, "We have to take the hint. She's a celebrity." Jung Kyung Ho's agency originally stated that the actor has been dating a non-celebrity for one year after he announced he had a girlfriend on the radio show 'Shindong's ShimShimTapa'.

'Woman Sense' also claimed, "The reason Jung Kyung Ho is unable to reveal his girlfriend is because of Sooyoung. She's in an idol group, and more than that, she's a member of South Korea's representative girl group Girls' Generation, so they have no choice but to be careful. On top of that, SM Entertainment rarely admits that an artist is dating." Another entertainment insider alleged, "I think Jung Kyung Ho wants his relationship to be public, but he won't be able to reveal his girlfriend. Girls' Generation has a very passionate fan base. Relationships are proudly revealed these days, but it's different when it comes to Girls' Generation."

What does SM Entertainment have to say? The agency has announced to various news sources, "The dating rumors are not true. It is true that the two are close, but they're not in a romantic relationship."

It was previously revealed that Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho met in church and have become close as hoobae and sunbae of Chung-Ang University.
