Sunny sheds tears as she says goodbye to 'Grandpas Over Flowers'

Girls' Generation's Sunny showed a lot of excitement while filming as a guest star for tvN's 'Grandpas Over Flowers.'  However, she showed a different side as it became time for her to leave the program.

The episode, which aired on September 13, concluded Sunny's backpacking trip in Taiwan with the 'Grandpas Over Flowers' cast members whom she had first viewed as father figures. She looked upset as she gave each man a farewell hug and explained her reluctance to leave in a later interview.

She said, "At some point in time, I started to view them more as my grandpas than my fathers because they were being so playful and showing a lot of affection."

When asked if her grandfather was currently residing in America, Sunny had to briefly gather herself before revealing that he had passed away.  She had been unable to attend his funeral due to her activities as a singer.

Showing tears, she concluded, "That's why I feel really sorry when I think about my grandpa.  But I was so happy around the grandpas today."

Take a moment to breathe for what you're about to see! Upcoming SBS weekend drama 'Passionate Love' released the making film of Girls' Generation's Seohyun's kiss scene!

The making films put fan boys on edge by showing Seohyun kissing her partner Lee Won Geun, who plays the younger version of the character Kang Moo Yeol, multiple times! The director even demonstrated how Seohyun and Lee Won Geun should lock their lips, leading them both to laugh in awkward giddy.

As mentioned previously, main leads Sung Hoon and Choi Yoon Young will play star-crossed lovers. Sung Hoon will play the role of Kang Moo Yeol who seems to have it all on the outside, but grows up with family issues and pain from the loss of his former love Han Yoo Rim (played by Girls' Generation's Seohyun). Choi Yoon Young will play the role of Han Yoo Rim's sister, Han Yoo Jung, who loses her family, but doesn't let that stop her from moving forward in her life. She ends up getting involved with Kang Moo Yeol 10 years later.

Girls' Generation will perform in Singapore on 12th October, Sooyoung reminds fans about the date of the concert and invites fans to have fun with the girls.

Japanese fashion company Samantha Thavasa has recruited Girls’ Generation to become their new endorsement models for new jeans line ‘Samantha Thavasa Jeans’. Known as one of the hottest style leaders in South Korea, the group introduces the new line of skinny jeans, which come in 9 different colors, as they flaunted their sexy hips to the tune of “Galaxy Supernova”.

Seohyun and Yuri tease fans with upcoming pictorial

Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun and Yuri gave fans a sneak peek at their upcoming pictorial.

On September 12, Girls’ Generation’s official Twitter posted the photo above and tweeted, “SeoHyun, Yuri at the photo shoot~! We’re sending another photo to you :)”

In the photo, the two idols look gorgeous in their trench coats and accessories, while posing cutely for the camera. Fans are speculating that the photo was taken from an autumn collection pictorial for a fashion magazine.

Nature Republic Releases New Advertisements Featuring Taeyeon

Nature Republic, fresh off of announcing Taeyeon as their new model several weeks ago, has released a set of new commercials featuring the Girls’ Generation member for their “Argan” line of products. The advertisements come in a variety of lengths, including a longer four-minute mini-documentary in addition to 30-second and 60-second commercials.

In the mini-documentary, Taeyeon narrates footage that highlights the natural origins and ingredients of Nature Republic’s “Argan” products.

In the the shorter commercial clips, Taeyeon can be seen posing with the product before she again narrates over several short clips that present the product’s natural roots.

Singapore’s Running Into The Sun has announced that Girls’ Generation will be bringing the “2013 Girls’ Generation’s World Tour – Girls & Peace” to Singapore. The concert will take place at 6 PM local time on October 12th at the Singapore Indoor Stadium and is being presented by Carlo Rino.

Priority ticket sales for Carlo Rino customers will begin on August 23rd, and public ticket sales, via SISTIC, will begin August 24th at 10 AM. Ticket prices will range from $178 SGD to $288 SGD. In order to qualify for priority ticket sales, Carlo Rino customers may present either a receipt for Carlo Rino products or an original Carlo Rino product at SISTIC outlets.
