Seohyun Commemorates Anniversary of the Korean War: ‘This Is Seohyun’

On June 25th, Seohyun left a message on Girls’ Generation’s official website commemorating the anniversary of the Korean War, which began June 25th, 1950.

The noble sacrifices made by all the people who put their lives on the line for the peace of one’s homeland will be remembered forever with a streak of light.

I think working hard for peace and harmony is something that we have to do to ensure these sacrifices are not in vain..^^

Jessica opens up her Weibo account

Welcome Girls' Generation's Jessica to the world of Weibo.

It's Jessica's first account on a social network service (excluding UFO Town, because that doesn't really count). She seems to be communicating with her fans in Chinese, English, and Korean! For those of you who don't know what Weibo is, it's basically a Chinese version of Twitter.

Taeyeon introduces her American friend

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon greeted her fans with more photos! 

On June 25, the lovely kid leader introduced her ‘American friend’ on her Instagram account by posting, “With my American friend #naturalperson #GG”.

The photo shows Taeyeon giving a calm expression to the camera along with her ‘American friend’, who is actually her fellow Girls’ Generation member, Tiffany. Both of them are gaining attention for their natural beauty and cute looks.

Taeyeon also shared some photos of her new found friends during her visit at an amusement park in Japan.

Seohyun Greets SONEs: ‘Tada~! ㅎㅎ’

Seohyun’s latest message on Girls’ Generation’s official website is accompanied by a black-and-white photo of herself. She wishes SONEs a good day as well as a fun second half of the year 2013.

Girls’ Generation Holds ‘LOVE&GIRLS’ Flashmob Event at Universal Studios Japan

On June 19th, Girls’ Generation held their first ever flashmob event at Gramercy Park inside Osaka’s Universal Studios Japan to commemorate the release of their new single, “LOVE&GIRLS”. SM Entertainment recently released video footage from the event on its official YouTube channel.

Despite the rain, over 4,000 fans gathered in front of the special stage. When Girls’ Generation appeared on stage, all of the fans cheered enthusiastically. While the performance did start off only in front of the stage, as time went on, it gradually spread across the various areas until almost everyone, including security guards and park characters, was dancing along.

After the filming for the event had finished, Sooyoung returned to the stage once again and said, “To the fans that waited in the rain, thank you very much. I was really happy to be able to do the ‘Shampoo Dance’ together!” The other members were overjoyed at the success of their first ever flashmob, and Sooyoung said to the fans, “Since it is our first time trying this, a lot of the members were nervous, but it was a success. It made us really happy to be able to see the smiles of the fans that danced together with us. If people can listen to our song and smile, then it becomes our happiness too.”

SM Entertainment’s video clip, shown below, reveals various shots from the flashmob event. The video also shows a number of dance covers uploaded by fans, as well as scenes from Girls’ Generation’s “LOVE&GIRLS” music video and footage from the Seoul leg of the “2013 Girls’ Generation’s World Tour – Girls & Peace”. SK Telecom Reveals Three New Advertisements Featuring Yoona

Yoona starred in three new CFs for SK Telecom’s LTE service, which were released this past week. The first commercial shows Yoona in a classroom referring to a board that reads “LTE League”. In the second video, Yoona shows the ease of sharing data between devices, turning her phone upside down so that the data easily flows to her tablet device. For the third video, Yoona answers questions silently, leaving SONEs to guess what hidden message she is trying to communicate.

The first photo, taken during the girls’ recent trip to Japan, features Tiffany in a black and white striped outfit with cartoon tears added for extra dramatic effect. She also uploaded another photo featuring her dog, Prince Fluffy. The photo focuses on her puppy which she holds in her arms.
