Jessica clarifies her dating scandal with Lee Dong Wook

On the January 23rd broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Radio Star‘, Girls‘ Generation‘s Jessica opened up about her dating scandal with actor Lee Dong Wook.

The ‘Radio Star’ MCs asked, “Didn’t you have a scandal with Lee Dong Wook who you co-starred in a drama with?” Jessica explained, “Within the drama, we had a love line. [It's true that] I’m close with Lee Dong Wook,” clarifying that they’re just good friends.

The two ‘Wild Romance‘ co-stars were embroiled in dating rumors last year after photos of them on the set of the drama and hanging out at a birthday party were captured.

Fellow member Sooyoung also commented on her scandal with Won Bin during the episode.

Girls’ Generation admit that YoonA earns the highest income among the members

 

On the latest episode of MBC‘s ‘Radio Star‘, Girls’ Generation confirmed that YoonA is indeed the member who earns the highest income among all nine members.

 

When asked, “YoonA was ranked #1 in earnings among the team. Is it true that YoonA is #1?”, all of the members nodded and confirmed the fact.

 

MC Yoo Se Yoon then asked, “How do you know these things?”, and Hyoyeon responded, “Isn’t it very obvious?” Sensing Hyoyeon’s uneasiness when responding, MC Kim Kook Jin fired back, “Hyoyeon sshi, did you just come back from a fight somewhere?”, and MC Kyuhyun added, “Hyoyeon seems to get a little emotional when talking about income”, bursting everyone into laughter.

 

The MCs also pointed out, “If there’s a #1 in ranking, there’s also a #9 in ranking”, to which the other eight members looked down and stated, “We’re all pretty much the same.”

Girls’ Generation will continue on even when a member gets married

 

Girls’ Generation confirmed they will be continuing promotions even if a member gets married.

On ‘Radio Star‘, the girls spoke up about Wonder Girls‘ Sun and congratulated her on her marriage. When the MCs asked, “If a member gets married in Girls’ Generation, will she have to leave the group?“, the girls chorused, “No“.

 

Taeyeon explained, “If someone gets married, we want to put her own wishes as the number 1 priority.“ Tiffany said, “I saw that the Spice Girls members came with their husbands to the musical press conference, and I really want to do that. It’s my dream to go on a vacation together with our husbands and children.”
