Taeyeon to perform "Closer" on 'Inkigayo'

Girl's Generation's Taeyeon has 다시 한번 solidified her 'Queen of OST' status with the release of her latest single, “ Closer”.

According to 소녀's Generation의 공식 website, Taeyeon will be performing “가까이” at SBS 'Inkigayo' on September 16th. Known for her 아름다운 목소리, 소녀's Generation's 아이가 leader will deliver 또 다른powerful and emotional performance on 특별한 stage 이번 주. 

““Closer”, 즉 serves as the OST for SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama 'To The 아름다운 You', is a beautifully 서면 song with a lyrical melody 그 사람에 대해 promising eternal 사랑을 to 자신의 loved one. 

秀英演技超乎想象令人刮目相看

少女时代的秀英表现出超乎想象的演技才能，一度成为大家关注的话题。 9月12日，在有线电视频道tvN电视剧《第三医院》中，秀英饰演喜欢上与自己青梅竹马的吴志浩（音）的中提琴手李艺珍（音）。 

在当天播放的节目中，秀英对吴志浩喊了一声“哥哥”，尽显她充满娇气的釜山方言，令粉丝们大为激动。 吴志浩想用窗帘布隔开，让各自拥有自己的空间，而秀英立刻说道“你该不会认为用窗帘之类的东西就可以逃出我邪恶的手掌心吧？”说着便用中提琴的 琴弓将窗帘挑开，引得观众笑声一片。 

在医院走廊演奏中提琴的场景中，秀英充分发挥了自己熟练的演奏能力，这也显示了她八面玲珑的一面。 据事后报道，秀英为了这一场景还特地接受了辅导。 网民们纷纷表示“秀英真的很适合做演员啊”、“秀英越来越招人喜欢了”等，反应强烈。 《第三医院》是以西•韩医相结合的医院内的神经外科为背景，讲述了天才神经外科专家金胜友和天才韩医医生吴志浩在事业和爱情上展开的命运对决的故事。 

Girls' Generation releases MV for Japanese "Oh!"

Prior to the release of their fifth Japanese single on September 26th, Girls’ Generation has revealed the full music video for the Japanese version of “Oh!”. Last week they revealed the music video for “All My Love is For You.”

Girls’ Generation’s fifth Japanese single will be released as a double A-side which features “Oh!” as the title track and “All My Love Is For You” as the second song. The album will be released on the September 26th along with Girls’ Generation’s Complete Video Collection.

Preview of Girls’ Generation’s “Oh!” PV revealed

 

As reported earlier, Girls’ Generation‘s “Oh!” will be the title of their next Japanese single that’s scheduled for release on September 26th.

 

Earlier today, a preview of their “Oh!” PV was revealed through the Japanese early morning program ZIP!

 

“Oh!” is the title track off of Girls’ Generation’s 2nd album which was released in Korea back in January of 2010. Its cute lyrics describe the feelings of a woman in love, and the video became a hit with the members dancing in cheerleading outfits.

Sooyoung’s older sister Choi Soojin makes a cameo appearance on ‘Third Hospital’

 

Actress Choi Soojin made a surprise cameo appearance on the most recent episode of her sister Sooyoung‘s debut drama, ‘Third Hospital‘.

 

On the 12th episode of the tvN drama, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung made her first appearance as character Lee Eujin, a violist helplessly in love with Oh Ji Ho‘s character Seung Hyun.

In one scene of the episode, Choi Soojin could be seen lying on a hospital bed with her body covered in blood followed by another scene which showed a close up of her portrait, disclosing to viewers that she had passed on to the next life. Knowing she did not have much time left to live, Choi Soojin’s character had taken her own life. Oh Ji Ho, who had been Choi Soojin’s boyfriend could be seen holding his late girlfriend’s portrait distraught over the situation.

 

At a press conference held earlier in the summer, Oh Ji Ho had revealed, “There is a portion of the drama in which Sooyoung and Choi Soojin will appear together.”

 

Netizens commented on Choi Soojin’s cameo saying, “I wasn’t expecting Choi Soojin to appear, I was unsure if it was her as I was watching but I guess it was“, “I’m anticipating the scenes which will show how the two met in the past“, “Did she appear as a favor to her little sister“, and more.

Sooyoung fulfilled her promise!

To fulfill 그 여자가 약속을 from 지난 주, Sooyoung did indeed 옷을 입고 as a rocker for the September 12th episode of “Midnight TV Entertainment”. She 에 합격 character by donning a 검은 색 leather jacket 과 밝은 red pants. She 는 pulled 을 an 전체 performance in her 새로운 persona, 심지어 choosing a member of the audience to rock out with.

Her co-host, Yoon Dohyun, also carried 통해 with his pledge 분장을 a 소녀 시대 member. He appeared onscreen as Sooyoung, 를 입고 a 흰 shirt and jeans. Then, 하기 위해 use of his outfit, he danced to the 이제까지 popular “Gee”.
