Tiffany Expresses Her Delight at Singing More Lines

On May 22nd, Girls’ Generation – TTS appeared on KBS’s music program, “Lee Sora’s Second Proposal”, to perform and chat with MC Lee Sora. In the chat session, Tiffany expressed her delight in the increase of her lines in songs, going from fifteen seconds to 75 seconds with “Twinkle”.

During the interview, Lee Sora asked the girls as to whether or not it had been difficult for Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun to go from singing as a nine member group to just three members. Taeyeon stated that she had indeed had a few difficulties, saying, “This is the first time I’ve worried about my throat’s condition since I debuted. Our parts became that much longer. It was enough for my throat to sometimes get a little hoarse.”

Tiffany, however, expressed her happiness due to the larger amount of time she sings in “Twinkle” compared to the past. She said, “I’ve long wanted to have more parts and looked forward to this unit album, so I’m enjoying my singing with a grateful heart. When we were nine members, I sang about fifteen seconds. This time I sing for a minute and fifteen seconds, so I’m delightfully thankful.”

Who does Seohyun want as the fourth TaeTiSeo member?

Girls’ Generation‘s sub-unit group, TaeTiSeo, guest-featured on the May 22nd broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Beautiful Concert‘.
On this particular episode, MC Hong Kyung Min asked the group, “Which Girls’ Generation member would you like to add to TaeTiSeo if you could?”, to which Seohyun answered, “Hyoyeon would be nice. It would be great if Hyoyeon can dance while the three of us sing“, expressing her opinion on the matter.
In addition, Hong Kyung Min also asked the girls, “Why are only three members performing as a unit group?“, to which Seohyun explained, “Members YoonA and Yuri are working as actresses right now and we wanted to focus on music“.
Also in this episode of ‘Beautiful Concert’, Taetiseo performed their hit songs “Twinkle” and “Baby Steps“.
If you could add a Girls’ Generation member to TaeTiSeo, who would you choose?

Jessica wants to go on a casual date

Girls’ Generation‘s Jessica wants to go on a casual date just like any young lady in their 20′s would.
Jessica posed for the June issue of Elle magazine, looking as chic and stylish as ever in a black and white ensemble.
But different from her intimidating exterior appearance, the singer revealed that those that are close to her call her clumsy and sincere.
Ever since I was a young girl up until now, I have never been able to go on a blind date,” she said. “I want to go on a casual set-up date like everyone else, eating street food and spending a day at the amusement park.”
When asked if there was a side of her only she knew but others weren’t aware of, the witty Jessica responded, “It wouldn’t be a secret if I told you!”
One day the singer hopes to have a family of her own that’s as happy and full of laughter as her current family now.
Her full interview and the rest of her pictorials can be found in the June issue of Elle Magazine.

Which member of Girls' Generation does TaeTiSeo want to recruit into the subunit?

Girls’ Generation-TTS chose Hyoyeon as the member whom they like to carry out their activities with.

On MBC ‘Beautiful Concert’ aired on May 22nd, Girls’ Generation-TTS performed ‘Twinkle’ and ‘Baby Steps’ and showed their wits in replying to questions directed at them by the MC.

In reply to MC of the show, Hong KyungMin’s question, “What was the reason for forming a unit consisting of 3 members out of the 9 members in Girls’ Generation?”, Taeyeon said, “The other members have their own acting activities. The three of us wanted to put more focus on music.”

After that Hong KyungMin asked, “If TaeTiSeo were to recruit one person into the unit, who would it be?”. Seohyun replied, “Probably it’s Hyoyeon. I think it will be great as Hyoyeon will be dancing while the three of us are singing.”

Tiffany added, “As Hyoyeon is participating in MBC ‘Dancing With The Stars 2′ recently, I think her Rumba dance would go well with our music”, expressing her admiration towards Hyoyeon’s dancing skill.

SM Town a success in LA

SM Town’s third world tour kicked-off in Los Angeles on May 20 at the Honda Center in Anaheim with more than 12,000 local fans flocking to the K-pop event.

Artists such as BoA, TVXQ, SHINee, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation f(2) and EXO performed one act after another, showcasing some of their greatest hits.

The bands shook things up by also singing songs out of the K-pop genre. Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and TVXQ’s Chagmin paired up to sing Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are” while Girls’ Generation’s Jessica and Crystal of f(x) sang Katy Perry’s “California Girls” to the delight of fans.

Yet it seems that stars were not only found on the stage -- there were some heavyweights from Hollywood among the screaming fans, as well. Singer Quincey Jones was present as well as some 200 music producers and composers from The Underdogs, the producers behind Beyonce’s “Listen” and Chris Brown’s “Turn up the Music.” Actor Simon Curtis, who had previously tweeted his interest in Girls’ Generation member Sooyoung, was also present at the show.

The SM Town Live World Tour III will make stops in Taipei, Taiwan on June 9, and Tokyo, Japan from Aug. 4 to 5 before making its way back home to Seoul on Aug. 18.
