Girls' Generation's Yuri and Yoona in past CF with Baek Jinhee!

Actress Baek Jinhee and Girls’ Generation’s Yuri and Yoona appeared together in CFs in the past.

Baek Jinhee and Girls’ Generation’s Yuri filmed a beverage advertisement together a few years ago. The advertisement featured Baek Jinhee as a high school student and Yuri as her cute younger sister.

Another Girls’ Generation member, Yoona, appeared in a cosmetics CF in the past with Baek Jinhee. Both girls exuded a very fresh and youthful appearance.

After appearing in the same CF together, Baek Jinhee garnered attention for appearing in yet another CF.

Baek Jinhee looked very fresh and youthful when she filmed with the different members of Girls’ Generation back in the past, and she still does even after all these years.

Cha Seungwon' Son and Sooyoung Elementary School Classmates!

The son of Cha Seungwon is known to be Girls’ Generation member Sooyoung’s elementary school classmate.

On December 10, a photo titled, “A commemorative picture of Cha Seungwon and Girls’ Generation” was uploaded onto an online community.

In the photo, Cha Seungwon was wearing a tuxedo and smiling brightly with a “V” sign. Next to him was a make-up artist, Lee Kyungmin, and Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung and Seohyun.

This photo was taken on November 3 in Sangam-dong, Seoul at the CJ E&M Center during the “2011 Style Icon Awards”.

The uploader of this photo said, “I’m sure many people are surprised that Cha Seungwon’s son and Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung were former classmates during elementary school.”

In response to this photo, netizens have left comments such as, “In short, Sooyoung is like a daughter to Cha Seungwon”, “This is something new. Cha Seungwon is like Girls’ Generation’s father figure”, and “I’d believe he’s an uncle, but not like a father to Girls’ Generation” which is fascinating.

On the other hand, Cha Seungwon was awarded the 2011 Best Style Icon award at the “2011 Style Icon Awards”.

Trailer for "Koala Kid : Birth of a Hero" Featuring Sunny and Taemin Released!

As reported earlier , Girls’ Generation’s Sunny will be working together with SHINee’s Taemin and lending their voices to the upcoming animated movie, “Koala Kid: Birth of a Hero”. After this was announced, the trailer for the movie has been released.



“Koala Kid: Birth of a Hero” is about a circus koala, Johnny, who suddenly becomes a hero. Even though he was previously an outcast, he soon becomes friends with other animals, including Miranda, another koala and they go on a journey to save the natural habitats of Australia. Taemin will be dubbing Johnny while Sunny will be dubbing Miranda, the beautiful and quick-witted koala.

2011 Girls' Generation Tour in Singapore was a huge success!

DKPOPNEWS was invited by the organizer of the 2011 SNSD's Asia Tour in Singapore on the 9th December at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

I attended the concert on my own and honestly speaking i enjoyed the show very much.

The girls started the concert with the remix version of "Genie" (Tell Me Your Wish),fans from Indonesia ,Malaysia,Vietnam,Japan and Taiwan attended the show too to cheer for the girls with other Sones.

I was impressed by the effort shown by Sones to support the girls, fans purchased official light sticks,towels and t-shirts from the official booth set up by the organizer at the Premiere East Entrance.

Towels and T-shirts were sold out in minutes and i can see many Sones with the official light sticks during the show, i bought one too and the organizer RITS gave me another extra one during the press conference earlier today.

Cha Seung Won snaps a photo with SNSD at ’2011 Style Icon Awards’

Actor Cha Seung Won brought back that infamous ‘Dokko Jin’ charm in his photo with SNSD‘sSooyoung and Seohyun.

The photo was taken at the 2011 Style Icon Awards on December 3rd. Cha Seung Won and his makeup artist Lee Kyung Min beamed happily for the camera, while the two girls shared shy smiles.

Interestingly enough, Sooyoung is known to have attended elementary school with Cha Seung Won’s son.
