The nine members of SNSD exhibited nine different charms for the May edition of ‘Marie Claire.

In this special edition, each SNSD member will have their own cover.

A representative expressed, “Every fan will be able to buy a magazine with their favorite SNSD member on the cover. We expect these magazines to be hot items.”

“Pure” was the concept for this photoshoot, and so the girls donned ruffles and lace dresses to not only portray feminine images, but give off a romantic mood. Fans were gasped particularly over Seohyun’s cover because she displayed the image of a more mature woman.

Project stylist Kim Woo Ri commented, “Normally, there are a lot of girlish and fancy styles, but SNSD was able to exhibit the innocent concept the best.“

This issue of Marie Claire will be available on April 20th!

SNSD’s Jessica thanks fans for the birthday wishes

SNSD’s Jessica celebrated her 23rd birthday on April 18th.

The next day, she left a post on the SNSD homepage, “Hello SONE.. Thank you for wishing me a happy 23rd birthday. I can’t describe my happiness in words. It seems like you guys are even happier for me, which I am really thankful of. I hope I can make you guys have strength and smile even a little.”

Ex-PD of “I Am A Singer” names his virtual list of idol contestants for the show

Kim Young Hee PD, the ex-producer of the hit series “I Am A Singer“, met up with reporters on April 18th and named his list of idols who are capable of appearing on the show.

His picks were revealed to be IU, JYJ’s Junsu and SNSD’s Taeyeon. He personally tried to have IUappear on the program, but because he quit the show, he couldn’t fulfill his dream.

“I Am A Singer” led the ‘revolution’ in the music industry for bringing back ‘real singers’ to the spotlight with this reality variety program. The show is going to start airing again on May 1st, after spending a month-long hiatus to change a few aspects.

On the episode of SBS ‘Running Man’ aired on April 17th, Sunny and YoonA were guests. The male members cheered and welcomed them more than how the samchon fans would.

At the PoongMul market, Sunny and Yoona wore casual clothes and hats in order to go undercover and to “take out” other ‘Running Man’ members.

In a survey "the celebrity most wanted as a robot", 334,784 people have participated in the poll up until the 12th.

SNSD's Yoona topped the poll with 257,001 votes, over 76% of the total votes, which shows that a robot with Yoona's appearance is the most anticipated. At the same time, Yoona is active in drama/ singing activities.

T-ara's Jiyeon came #2 in the poll with 52406 votes whilst SHINee's Onew came in #3 with 11303 votes.

On the recent episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart’, she revealed her story and thoughts on being a Seohyun lookalike.

Son EunSeo explained, “In the past SNSD’s YoonA and me became models for cosmetic products. Before her debut, YoonA told me, ‘there is someone in our group who looks like you’ and we became closer after that. After SNSD’s debut, I realize that the member YoonA meant was Seohyun”.
