SNSD’s Sooyoung keeps her promise to Park Seung Il

SNSD’s Sooyoung kept a promise she made to former basketball coach, Park Seung Il.

Park was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease in 2002 amidst a busy career as one of the youngest Korean basketball coaches.

On the December 7th episode of SBS’s “Strong Heart,” Sooyoung revealed, “I wanted to visit him after finding out that he liked SNSD. When I first saw him, the disease had progressed to the point where only his eyeballs were movable. His cheeks shook the minute he saw me and I’ve been visiting him ever since. He has a girlfriend of five years. It’s truly a movie-like story.”

Sooyoung ended her segment by promising that should she win a “Strong Heart” trophy on the show, she would gift it to Park. She eventually won the talk battle and later released a picture of the delivery, proving that she kept her promise. The picture was revealed on an internet cafe, titled “ALS with Park Seung Il,” and it shows Sooyoung posing with Park while holding the “Strong Heart” trophy.

SNSD sang their hit songs with fans on the street

Recently, SNSD were guests for the show "YaHaengSung" (Night Star Variety Show).

For a section of the show, each member took turns to "test" whether the fans knew how to sing to their hit songs.

The street was filled with fans and it was the first time there was such a big crowd.

In the end, all SNSD's hit songs made it as fans managed to sing along to all. SNSD then thanked all the fans through a window in the van. Host, Shin Dongyup then made SHINee's Onew show his face for the female fans and once Onew appeared, female fans started screaming and no screams from male fans was heard.

This was funny because when it was SNSD's turn, many male fans kept screaming but when SHINee's Onew appeared, many female fan's screams was heard instead.

Was SNSD’s Jessica inappropriately touched by a man?

Not too long ago, the 12th Annual Korea-China Song Festival was held at the KBS Hall on December 2nd, for which various famous music artists from both nations came together as a way to promote friendship between the two countries. Unfortunately, this particular event might not be remembered for creating bonds anymore.

One fancam from the festival recently caught the attention of many SNSD fans, as it contains footage of what looks like a man inappropriately touching member Jessica.

In the video, right after Jessica says the ending speech on behalf of the group, she quickly turns toHyoyeon and seems to whisper something into her ear. Hyoyeon then looks in the direction of the man to the right of Jessica (from the videographer’s vantage point) in apparent shock and disgust at something, while Jessica proceeds to move to the far left where Sooyoung is standing. Meanwhile, the man on the right slowly begins to remove himself from the scene, as he walks out of sight to the right.

By the look of Jessica’s facial expression, it’s quite obvious that she was disturbed by something that happened, and the speculation over the alleged inappropriate touching has left SONES enraged.

Check out the video for yourself below, and the touching allegedly occurs around 0:42.
