[Videos] Girl Generation performed 'Gee' Japanese Version on 'Music Station'


Not Music Bank,nor Music Core,but Music Station.
It is a long-running Japanese music television program,broadcasting weekly from 8PM to 9PM on Friday,at tv asahi.

Our girls has just went on it and they are set to perform Gee. They are all wearing the same shirts with zebra stripes and a G logo on it,finishing up the perfect combo with colorful skinny jeans.

[News] ‘Cinderella Man’ to Air in Japan


Romance/drama series Cinderella Man, which stars popular Korean actor Kwon Sangwoo, alongside SNSD‘s Yoona will soon be airing on Japanese screens.

Kwon Sangwoo portrays the roles of a poor man and an heir, who both look identical and eventually switch lives, while Yoona plays as the protagonist’s love interest.

Cinderella Man will begin airing on the 25th on Japanese TV channel TBS.

[News] Girls' Generation to unveil title track "Hoot" on Monday


Korean female idols Girls' Generation will unveil their upcoming title track "Hoot" next week.

A press release from SM Entertainment announced that they will release "Hoot" on various online music websites including MelOn, Bugs, Dosirak and Cyworld on October 25, while their third mini-album will go on sale two days later.

"Hoot" is a cheerful song with go-go rhythm which features lyrics about a girl warning her boyfriend who continuously hurts her.

Just yesterday, SM revealed the final teaser photos of the girls dressed in the style of the retro power girl for their upcoming mini-album.

Known as one of the most popular girl groups in Asia for their style and hit songs such as "Gee," "Genie" and "Oh!," Girls' Generation will be returning to the local music scene, promoting "Hoot" on KBS' televised music program "Music Bank" on October 29.

[News] New SNSD menu in Chinese restaurant becomes controversial


A Chinese restaurant in Korea recently revealed a new menu using the names of the SNSD girls.

The menu lists nine different combos, all of which are recommended by the head chef. The most expensive meal is the “Yoona Set” which goes for $20 USD, while the cheapest is the “Sunny Set” for $12 USD.

The menu was first uploaded by a netizen on Twitter, and has been spreading rapidly through retweets. Many netizens believe that the menu is offensive and sexually suggestive because of the way it’s worded and presented.

Netizens commented, “I want to eat it once“, “I’d like to eat them all in turn“, “I wonder what their reasoning behind the prices are“, “How can they make a menu out of someone’s name?“, and “SNSD would feel dirty if they saw this.
