Yuri is in talks for new MBC's animal variety show

Girls' Generation's Yuri reported to have been casted for an upcoming variety show about raising animals from MBC.

According to various broadcasters on January 5th, Yuri is currently considered as one of the cast for MBC's new variety show about raising animals. Nothing has been confirmed yet as the casting is still being finalized.

Even though there hasn't been any specific infor, but it's likely that this new variety show will be the follow-up program to 'Dad Where Are You Going?". It was said that the show will be produced by Jo Young Jae PD who once worked for 'Infinity Challenge' and 'Radio Star'.

Meanwhile, 'Dad Where Are You Going?" will end its run at the end of January. The last episode will have the five families going on their last trip together where they will have time to look back on their memories which they have gained throughout the show.

She had previously launched a collaborative line with the Chinese brand featuring clothes that she not only modelled for, but also took part in designing. Through 'LI-NING', she wished her fans a happy new year and the best of luck in everything for the year, including exams and studies.

Yoona becomes the member of 'Honor Society'

Girls' Generation's Yoona has become the first member of 'Honor Society' in 2015 after continuously donating in secret to help the lower income families since 2010.

A rep from Seoul Community Chest said on January 2nd,"Girls' Generation's Yoona, who is actively promoting as both a singer and actress, becomes the first member of 'Honor Society' in the new year'.

Regarding the news of her charity work, Yoona stated,"At first I just wanted to help the neighbors who are in need quietyly. But I think it's also important to share this with many other people. To celebrate the new year of 2015, I decided to join 'Honor Society' because I want to help spreading the culture of sharing. As I have done until now, I want to continue to give and help those who are in disadvantage".

Lee Yeon Bae, who is the president of Seoul's Fruit of Love said,"It needs a lot of effort and commitment to continuously doing something like that. We are expecting that Yoona, with her unchanging giving for the past 5 years, will become a role model to raise everyone's interest in sharing love to their neighbors".

Sunny says 2014 was a bad year, looks forward to 2015

During the December 31 broadcast of '2014 MBC Gayo Daejaejun', Girls' Generation member Sunny reflected on 2014 as a bad year and expressed her wishes for 2015.

When asked to make a New Year's wish, Sunny stated, "There were a lot more painful events than I thought there would be during the year of 2014. I would like it if the upcoming new year would be jam-packed with only good events."

She continued, "I would also like it if Girls' Generation's [new year] was full of good things too." 

When asked how she felt about the new year so far, she said, "It feels refreshing! I already like it." Fellow member Tiffany agreed, saying, "I already like it!"
