Seohyun Takes Photo with Park Seungil

Seohyun recently took several pictures with Park Seungil, a South Korean basketball player who suffers from ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Sunny, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, and Yoona have taken part in theIce Bucket Challenge, which aims to raise money for and awareness of ALS. Jo Kwon Uploads Photo of Himself and Hyoyeon onto Instagram

2AM’s Jo Kwon recently posted a picture onto his Instagram, featuring himself posing with Hyoyeon. After hashtags of “Priscilla” and “musical” (“Priscilla” is the musical Jo Kwon is currently performing in), his caption reads, “Soshi jjang! Hyoyeoni ddaengkyu (translator’s note: thank you)“.

2014 has been full of ups and downs, but the girls haven’t lost their humor as they face whatever the day decides to bring them. This video, the most recent in a set, compiles Girls’ Generation’s latest goofy moments, whether on variety shows or during concerts and other public appearances, and reminds us of just one of many reasons why we became SONEs in the first place.

Taeyeon says all of her personal life will not be divulged in TaeTiSeo's reality program

The press conference for TaeTiSeo's upcoming reality program, OnStyle's 'The TaeTiSeo,' took place at the CJ E&M Center on August 22.

During the event, Taeyeon was told, "You're engaging in your first reality program since acknowledging your relationship with EXO's Baekhyun."  She responded, "The purpose of the program is to show the process of preparing for the new album as well as TaeTiSeo's fashion and beauty, all of which people may be curious about.

I do not think I need to reveal everything from my personal life just because it's a reality program. The daily life of TaeTiSeo shows us playing, eating, and chatting, so I hope you would put aside your focus on the private side of things."

'The TaeTiSeo' will start airing on August 26.

Sunny, Choi Hong Man, and more reported to appear on 'Happy Together 3'

Girls' Generation's Sunny, fighter Choi Hong Man, volleyball coach Kim Se Jin, announcer Do Kyung Wan, comedian Hwang Hyun Hee, and TV personality Hong Jin Ho are reported to be guests on an upcoming episode of KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together 3'!

An insider told 'The Fact' on August 23, "Sunny, Hong Jin Ho, Choi Hong Man, volleyball coach Kim Se Jin, announcer Do Kyung Wan, and more are set to attend the recording of 'Happy Together' at the KBS building in Yeouido, Seoul today."

According to insiders, the episode will be a 'short vs tall' special in which the guests will share funny incidents that happened to them because of their height. Viewers are also anticipating the interaction between Choi Hong Man and fixed member Jo Se Ho, who is known for his imitation of the fighter.

TaeTiSeo crown their new leader in 2nd preview of 'The TaeTiSeo'

TaeTiSeo reveal their new leader in the 2nd preview of their upcoming reality show 'The TaeTiSeo'.

SNSD's leader might be Taeyeon but in their vocal sub-unit TaeTiSeo, Tiffany and Taeyeon crown their maknae Seohyun as the group's leader.

As response to Tiffany's nomination, Seohyun confidently accepts the responsibility and said, "Hello I'm TaeTiSeo's leader, Seohyun."

Let's look forward for the maknae-leader Seohyun in the premiere of 'The TaeTiSeo' on August 26.

Update: Sunny, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, and Yoona Participate in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

The SMTOWN YouTube channel has now posted Yoona’s completion of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Yoona had been nominated by EXO’s Sehun and in turn nominated actors Lee Minho and Kim Sooro and actress Kim Taehee.

Update on August 23rd, 2014:

On August 22nd, after posting a video of Yuri completing the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, the SMTOWN YouTube channel next revealed a video of Sunny participating in the campaign as well. Sunny had been nominated by comedian Ahn Youngmi, Jewelry’s Yewon, and Kim Hyunjoong. Sunny herself chose to nominate the director of MBC radio, singer and actor Shin Sungwoo, and comedian Shin Dongyup.

On August 22nd, the SMTOWN YouTube channel posted a video of Yuri completing the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Yuri had been nominated by actress Hwang Shinhye. In her video, Yuri mentions Park Seungil and nominates actress and singer Jeon Hyebin, comedian Yoo Seyoon, and her older brother.

On August 21st and 22nd, Hyoyeon and Sooyoung uploaded videos to Instagram showing their participation in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The Ice Bucket Challenge is a campaign meant to raise awareness and donations for ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. ALS is a neurodegenerative disease that affects motor neurons in the brain and spine. As the neurons are destroyed, individuals with ALS suffer paralysis and lose their ability to move and speak.

The Ice Bucket Challenge involves a person pouring a bucket of ice water over his or her own head and challenging three others to do the same or donate to fight ALS. The ice water is meant to symbolize the effect of being “frozen”, or paralyzed. Since it started, stars around the world have participated in the challenge, which eventually led to miss A’s Min challenging Hyoyeon and actor Yang Donggeun challenging Sooyoung. Sooyoung posted several videos on August 21st explaining how to donate and mentioned Park Seungil, a basketball player with ALS who she has been visiting for many years with the other members of Girls’ Generation. Hyoyeon posted her videos on August 22nd. After completing the challenge themselves, Hyoyeon nominated actor Chun Jung-myung, SHINee’s Jonghyun, and SM Entertainment founder Lee Sooman, and Sooyoung nominated actors Daniel Henney and Lee Jonghyuk (her co-star in “Dating Agency; Cyrano”), and actress Shin Sekyung.

Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun Attend Press Conference for “The TaeTiSeo”

On August 22nd, Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun attended a press conference for “The TaeTiSeo” at the CJ E&M Center in Seoul. The three members posed for photos and sat down with the producer of the “The TaeTiSeo” to answer questions about what they hoped to show viewers through the program. Pieces from the outfits worn by Taeyeon and Seohyun are listed on Soshified Styling.

“The TaeTiSeo” is a new reality program that will air on the OnStyle network, which recently concluded airing “Jessica & Krystal”. The show will focus on the three members’ everyday lives, fashion, and beauty, and will begin airing on August 26th.
