Seohyun Graduates from Dongguk University

On August 21st, Seohyun graduated from Dongguk University, after four years majoring in theater. Seohyun attended the graduation ceremony in the traditional cap and gown and sat among her fellow students of the graduating class. Seohyun also received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to the school. Late last year, Seohyun had donated 100 million won to the university.

To congratulate her, the members of Girls’ Generation sent Seohyun a wreath with a message. The left side reads, “Group Girls’ Generation who owns a college graduate”, while the right side says, “Juhyun, we are proud of the breathless days of your past”. Seohyun had led a busy college life, often balancing school and her activities for Girls’ Generation. During her time as a student at Dongguk University, Seohyun traveled around the world for multiple tours and concerts, made dozens of trips to Japan for recordings and arena tours, appeared on “We Got Married”, performed in a musical and a television drama, and participated in all of Girls’ Generation’s albums, including “Twinkle”. Her free time away from Girls’ Generation was spent in school, making her quite the amazing idol.

Sooyoung also posted a photo of Seohyun as congratulations on her Instagram account with a message saying, “There’s a doll here? Congratulations, Seohyun. You’re really incredible. I admire you^_^”. Seohyun later posted on her own Twitter account, uploading several photos of herself in front of her flower wreaths. She tweeted, “To everyone who congratulated me on my graduation~ I sincerely thank you^^ I will work hard to continue to grow as a member of society with a sense of responsibility and duty~! Thank you again to the many professors who taught me so much along the way!! My peers!! I love you♡Thank you”.

Girls’ Generation to Hold ’2014 Girls’ Generation 1st FANS PARTY’ in China

SM Entertainment has partnered with Chinese organizers to hold the “2014 Girls’ Generation 1st FANS PARTY”.

Girls’ Generation met Chinese fans for the first time in 2008, when they performed in Shanghai for SMTOWN. In 2010, the girls returned to China during their first Asia tour, and again in 2013 for SMTOWN in Shanghai and Beijing. But since 2010, the Girls’ Generation has not had a solo concert in China. Thus, this fan event will give Chinese fans a chance to connect with Girls’ Generation.

The “2014 Girls’ Generation 1st FANS PARTY” will be held at the end of September, with stops in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. More details will be announced at a later date.

Seohyun to graduate from Dongguk University

Girls' Generation's Seohyun is graduating from Dongguk University!

SM Entertainment announced on August 20 that the Girls' Generation maknae will be attending the college's graduation ceremony tomorrow on the 21st. The agency added that she'll be receiving an achievement award for her contribution to the university through outreach activities that promoted the school.

Seohyun entered Dongguk University, which her fellow member YoonA also attends, as a theater major in 2010.

YoonA bares her abs and captures a post-modern look for 'W Korea'

YoonA showed off a different side in her latest pictorial with 'W Korea' released on August 20 KST, shedding the sweet girl image and bright, melting smile for a chic look of nonchalance.  As the theme seems to be post modern, the shots are all black-and-white for a moody effect as she looks very mature and tomboyish.

In one notable picture, she bares her rather impressive abs that look so good even she can't take her eyes away.  Which is your favorite picture?

TaeTiSeo get SONE excited for their upcoming comeback and reality show with stunning snapshots

TaeTiSeo (Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun) treated SONE who are patiently waiting for their comeback with snapshots of the girls being their beautiful selves!

Taeyeon shared on her Instagram on the 20th, "#TTS", along with stunning photos of the TaeTiSeo reunion.

SM Entertainment previously revealed that the girls are working hard for their upcoming comeback, which is expected to be sometime this fall, so it doesn't seem like fans have too long of a wait.

Yoona Visits Sunny on ‘FM Date’

On August 19th, Yoona appeared on Sunny’s “FM Date” for her 100th day hosting the radio show. Sunny and Yoona discussed a variety of subjects and even played the piano at one listener’s request. Sunny sang a cover of BoA’s “Tree” (seen at 1:33:15 in the clip below), and Sunny and Yoona also called Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun, who were filming a show, at the end of the radio.

Yoona to appear as guest on 'Sunny's FM Date' radio 100th day special

Yoona will come and guest on Sunny's radio on its 100th day special. 

She will appear in the 3rd and 4th segments on MBC radio's 'Sunny's FM Date' on the upcoming August 19th. The segments will have Sunny celebrating the 100th day of her radio and directly granting the wishes from the listeners. Yoona will appear as the one to deliver the wishes. 

The radio staff said,"Since they're close to each other so we are highly anticipating to see how Yoona will ask Sunny for her wish during the live broadcast'. 

The radio is currently collecting the listeners' wishes through its official website. In particular, Sunny is said to be preparing for her live singing on the radio for the first time ever since she became a DJ.
