Seohyun Opens Twitter Account

On November 4th, Seohyun opened a Twitter account with the username sjhsjh0628 and tweeted her thanks to fans for their efforts in helping Girls’ Generation’s “I Got A Boy” win the “Video of the Year” award at the YouTube Music Awards. Her first tweet matched her message on Girls’ Generation’s official website, but also included “sone !! u guys are the best!:)”. Seohyun later tweeted another message in English, again thanking fans for voting, and included a selca.

Seohyun is the latest member of Girls’ Generation to create a public account on social media, following Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Hyoyeon, and Yuri.

'THE TaeTiSeo' releases teaser videos of TaeTiSeo in L.A

Keeping fans excited towards TaeTiSeo's upcoming reality show, OnStyle has released more teaser videos for 'THE TaeTiSeo'. 

The videos disclosed more of Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun while they were in L.A, which showed the girls entertained and enjoyed themselves at a carnival. In particular, many fans are excited and anticipating towards the broadcast day of the show since maknae Seohyun will show her rebellious side by talking informally to her unnies. 

'THE TaeTiSeo' will broadcast its 1st episode on August 25th at 11pm kst.

FUSION Releases Feature on “KCON 2014″

Following the success of “KCON” this year, many American news outlets have latched onto the fact that Hallyu is taking the United States by storm. In FUSION’s video on “KCON 2014″, Tiffany and Seohyun give a brief introduction at around 0:34 and answer one of the interviewer’s questions at 1:54. The Facebook page for the Lotte Department Store in Vietnam has announced that Girls’ Generation will be attending a grand opening for the store in Hanoi. The opening will take place on September 2nd. Unfortunately, Sooyoung will not be able to attend due to other schedules.

Jessica's 'Blanc' website crashes upon launch

Jessica's new fashion brand 'Blanc' is apparently so popular that servers couldn't handle the visiting load!

'Blanc' is a brand of modern-classic items, clean-cut silhouettes, and interesting details inspired by Jessica's own style. Jessica also took inspiration from her favorite cities Seoul, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, New York, and Paris. She also plans to showcase her fragrance set and 2015 F/W collection later this year. She had been planning to introduce sunglasses and eye-wear as the first items from her brand.

However, visiting the site currently gives an error message as above. It seems like they didn't quite account for how many people might want to visit the site!

Hopefully the site gets to working order soon. 

SNSD lands on # 1 on Oricon Weekly Album Chart with 'The Best'

SNSD ranked number one on Oricon Weekly Album chart for their latest Japanese compilation 'The Best.'

According to Oricon, 'The Best' has sold 31,477 copies in the two weeks that it has been released.

Girls Generation released its first ever compilation album 'The Best' that will feature all their greatest hits from 2010-2014 albums. 'The Best' includes their hit songs 'Gee,' 'Run Devil Run,' 'Mister Taxi,' 'Hoot,' 'Mr.Mr.,' 'Oh!,' 'The Boys,' 'Time Machine,' 'Bad Girl' and others.

Girls’ Generation Performs at ‘SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV’ in Seoul

On August 15th, Girls’ Generation performed at “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV” in Seoul. Members of the group performed in several collaborations with other SM Entertainment artists and also performed their own hit songs, including “Into the New World”, “Hoot”, “Kissing You”, “Gee”, “I Got A Boy”, and “Mr.Mr.”. OnStyle has released the first teaser videos for upcoming reality show 'THE TaeTiSeo' featuring Girls' Generation unit TaeTiSeo.

A rep from the network previously announced, "We plan to reveal Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun, three women in their twenties who dream of small rebellions, and their honest sides. We plan for you to meet the TaeTiSeo who aren't on a glamorous stage." In the teasers, the three members discuss what viewers would be curious about and have fun at an amusement park.
