Jessica shows off her new bangs

It has been a while, but it looks like Girls' Generation's Jessica is sporting bangs once again for a refreshingly youthful look!  

She showed off her new hairstyle on Weibo on July 28 with the message: "Just a slight change :)." She later added, "TGIT," indicating her gratitude for Tuesday.  

In the photos, Jessica is wearing little to no makeup for a natural look as she lies comfortably in bed.

Jessica and Krystal recall a time they were drunk + divulge their thoughts on the last episode of their show

On the July 29 edition of 'Jessica & Krystal,' the two pretty sisters discussed a time when they got drunk.

The two were asked whether they had gone to get a massage together before.  Krystal said, "There was a time we went, last winter.  At the time, she and I drank wine and got drunk."

Jessica revealed, "That was the time when Chun Song Yi [played by Jun Ji Hyun] from 'You Who Came From The Stars' was popular.  The both of us greeted people like her while intoxicated."

Krystal added, "We said 'Boong Boong ah~' to every car we passed," as Chun Song Yi called her own car by that name in the drama.

Also in this episode, the sisters revealed their thought on the last day of filming their reality program together.  Jessica said, "I'm sad.  This was our first time [filming together], and I think it let us spend time together.  We got to do a lot of stuff we wouldn't have been able to do even if we paid for it.  It was stuff that would've been impossible had the staff not done it all for us.  This was the most memorable.  They were good memories for us."

Krystal said, "I think it's really nice that there is something my sister and I could watch when we're both grandmas.  I could show it to my daughter later on, saying, 'This is your mom and your aunt,' and I can laugh as I watch."

Girl's Generation sets another record in Japan

On July 23rd, Girls' Generation released "The best", a compilation album containing 18 hit songs, including "Genie", "Gee", "Mr. Taxi",Japanese version of "Mr Mr", brand new ballad “Indestructible” ..., and it debuted at #1 on both Oricon Daily Album Chart and Weekly Chart.

It is the third time Girl's Generation has topped the Japanese chart following "Girls' Generation" in 2011 and "Love & Peace" in 2013. With this result, Girls' Generation became the only Asian girl group that made three consecutive #1 debuts on Oricon Chart.

Meanwhile, Girls' Generation's new album advertisement will be posted on billboards at Ginza, Shinjuku, Ikebukuor, O-otemachi, Akihabara, Rotbbongi, Ebis, and Yurakcho areas of Tokyo until August 3rd.

Jessica and Krystal become new models for fashion brand Lapalette

Jessica and Krystal have been chosen as the new models for 2014 F/W collection of fashion brand Lapalette. 

The sisters are attracted much attention through their own reality show 'Jessica & Krystal', especially their great fashion sense and irresistible charms have caught the eyes of Lapalette which led them to be chosen as the new endorsers for the brand. 

It was revealed that in the upcoming August, Lapalette will proceed with various promotions featuring the Jung sisters and it will be available both online and offline. In particular, the new advertisement photos can be seen via 38 offline stores in Korea. The behind the scene of the photoshoot will be shown in the broadcast of 'Jessica and Krystal' on July 29th.

Girls’ Generation – TTS Perform at ’2014 BlueOne Dream Festival’

On July 30th, Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun performed as Girls’ Generation – TTS at the “2014 BlueOne Dream Festival”, held at the BlueOne Water Park. The three members of the sub-unit dressed in flowery summer outfits for the event and performed “Love Sick”, “Baby Steps”, and “Twinkle”.

The “2014 BlueOne Dream Festival” began on July 13th and will run until August 17th, with multiple different artists performing. Other K-Pop singers to appear in the future will include Secret, Dal Shabet, and Ailee.

Yoona and Seohyun Attend VIP Premiere of ‘The Pirates’

On July 29th, Yoona and Seohyun attended the VIP premiere of “The Pirates” at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University in Seoul. The two posed for photos by the media with other stars at the event. The cast of “The Pirates” includes f(x)’s Sulli, and other SM Entertainment artists, such as TVXQ!’s Yunho, SHINee’s Minho, f(x)’s Victoria, and EXO’s D.O also appeared at the premiere in support of the movie.

Jessica and Davichi's Kang Min Kyung hang out and grab a meal

Unexpected friends Girls' Generation's Jessica and Davichi's Kang Min Kyung hung out and grabbed a meal together.

On July 29, Kang Min Kyung posted the above photo to Instagram as well as the message,"When I call her Jessica unni, everyone always asks me [why I'm calling her unni],"referring to the fact that many mistakenly think Kang Min Kyung is older than she actually is. 

In the photo, the two look quite happy to be spending time together and eating good food. In other news, Jessica is currently starring on the reality show 'Jessica & Krystal' with her sister, while Davichi recently signed on with CJ E&M.
