Sunny looks pretty in pink and Kyuhyun is suave for their 'Singin' In The Rain' performances

Musical 'Singin' In The Rain' had their press call on June 12 at the Chungmu Art Hall's Big Theater.  There, the performers did their dance numbers and sang away to the audience's enjoyment.  

This included a cute performance from Girls' Generation's Sunny who pops out of a cake with a bright smile and looks pretty in pink as well as more poignant performances by Super Junior's Kyuhyun.

Meanwhile, EXO's Baekhyun will also be in the musical, which will be running at the Big Theater until August 3.

Sunny and Simon D apologize for their 'inappropriate' exchange on her radio program

On June 12, both Simon D and Girls' Generation's Sunny made an apology regarding their conversation on the June 11 airing of her radio program 'Sunny's FM Date' as the content was deemed inappropriate.

On June 11, Simon D appeared in the corner entitled 'The Technique for Love' and took part in informal speech and jokes of a mature nature.  Simon D told Sunny, "You did a good job calling me.  I have really good technique," starting off with a suggestive comment from the beginning.  

A taken aback Sunny said, "You love with your heart.  But you've kept talking about technique."  Simon D replied, "Using your heart is also a kind of technique.  Likewise, using your body could be another kind of technique."

Also on this day, Simon D said in the early part of the broadcast, "To tell the truth, I drank until I got sick and lied down for two days before coming here.  That's why my face isn't that great right now.  Though I came here to see our Sunny," which made people wonder if he was intoxicated on set. 

With comments of this nature and throwing out jokes that suggested at 19+ rated themes, netizens also criticized Simon D for putting Sunny in a tough spot as he seemed flirtatious with his comments and gave her a hard job of trying to tone things down or wrap up his jokes in a matter appropriate for young listeners.

He wrote on Twitter the next day, "I sincerely apologize for my poor behavior on 'Sunny's FM Date' yesterday.  I definitely did not drink; my inadequacy is at fault as I felt too comfortable on air.  From now on, I will correct my manners and engage in broadcast with earnest. I apologize."

At the press call for her musical 'Singin' In the Rain' on June 12, Sunny also addressed this issue: "It has only been a month since I've been on the radio so far, so I think my incompetence is to blame.  From now on, I will work harder so that no matter what guest comes in or whatever corner is going on, I will make it so that people can listen without discomfort."

Fortunately, Simon D's quick apology after the controversy appear to have alleviated netizens' feelings.

Hyoyeon Attends Nike Gangnam Flagship Store Pre-Opening Event

Girls' Generation takes a group photo on 'The Ultimate Group'

Girls' Generation and Chinese entertainer Peng Yu took a photo together. 

On June 11th, Girls' Generation participated in the recording of new joint Korean-Chinese variety show "The Ultimate Group". The girls were all doing the V sign and thumb up pose while looking towards the camera, showed off their beautiful and youthful appearances. 

Super Junior previously also took part in the recording on the 11th.

Sunny Attends ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ Press Call

On June 12th, Sunny attended a press call event for the “Singin’ in the Rain” musical production, where highlights from the musical were performed. Sunny, playing the role of Kathy Selden, dressed in a pink and purple outfit for her performance. An interview was also held with the cast of the musical, which includes Choi Soojin, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, TRAX’s Jay, CSJH’s Sunday, and EXO’s Baekhyun. Sunny’s first public performance for “Singing’ in the Rain” will take place June 14th.

Jessica and Krystal reveal their height

Jung sisters revealed their height on "Jessica and Krystal". 

The broadcast on June 10th showed the sisters going shopping in L.A. When they visited the book store, Krystal spotted a book with title "I'd Rather Be Short: 100 Reasons Why It;s Great To Be Small". Jessica then asked,"How tall are you" in which Krystal answered,"I'm 1m65". Jessica then revealed her height to be 1m61.8. 

Krystal then looked at the book and said,"I will buy it for Luna unnie" and laughed. She then asked Jessica for whom she would buy the book, and Jessica replied with Sunny and Hyoyeon.

Girls' Generation's Jessica showed disapproval toward her younger sister Krystal's taste in men while the two were hanging out at a cafe in the second episode of their On Style reality program 'Jessica & Krystal' which aired on June 10.  

In relation to Krystal's ideal type, Jessica said, "There isn't an exact one, but there's a feeling.  She likes someone who gives off a slightly odd feeling."  Krystal replied, "A feeling is important for every person.  It is hard to give off that feeling."

The two revealed they often talked about men.  Krystal, in particular, complained that her sister would always show disapproval towards men that Krystal liked. 

Krystal revealed she liked men who were in the mold of Johnny Depp, saying, "When Johnny Depp and Kate Moss were dating in the past, I wanted to become a couple like that." Her sister said, "I am against a man like Johnny Depp.  You probably know that.  A person like that isn't great.  You're in a bit of a rebellious phase, that's why.  Why do you have so many problems with the world?  You just need to meet a straight-edged person."

Krystal went on, "Our criteria for what is 'straight-edged' could be different." Refusing to lose, Jessica said, "There are certain people whom anyone could look at and judge, 'That person is not straight-edged.'  I think you are often attracted to people like that."

Krystal wondered, "Is it because I'm young?" to which Jessica replied, showing her sisterly concern, "My goal is to change you a bit.  I feel like you won't be happy at all later on."
