Seohyun Opens Twitter Account

On November 4th, Seohyun opened a Twitter account with the username sjhsjh0628 and tweeted her thanks to fans for their efforts in helping Girls’ Generation’s “I Got A Boy” win the “Video of the Year” award at the YouTube Music Awards. Her first tweet matched her message on Girls’ Generation’s official website, but also included “sone !! u guys are the best!:)”. Seohyun later tweeted another message in English, again thanking fans for voting, and included a selca.

Seohyun is the latest member of Girls’ Generation to create a public account on social media, following Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Hyoyeon, and Yuri.

Sunny discusses working with Siwan, jealousy in Girls' Generation, + how long the group can last

Sunny recently sat down for an interview to promote the upcoming animated film 'Rio 2' in which she voices the parrot Jewel, the wife of Siwan's character.

As the two had never met each other previously, Sunny revealed her thoughts on working together with Siwan for the first time: "We met each other to play husband and wife roles and then went to an interview together; it was really embarrassing and awkward." Before the interview, they had been complete strangers, but after working on the same animation together, they became much more acquainted. 

She went on to praise her co-star: "He was very proficient, even in the ways he expressed himself.  He was sociable, good at managing the interview, and was comfortable to be around, so that was a relief."  

She was then asked if there was any jealousy among Girls' Generation members like there would be among siblings.  Sunny said, "I think we are different from siblings. When I was younger, rather than calling it jealousy, there was a time I concerned myself more with my personal ambitions, such as 'I want to do this,' 'I could do it better,' 'I want to sing a lot of songs by myself.'  Then, after we got to know one another really well and we came to like being one team, it was more like 'I think this person will do this part well.' In addition, if we think that it will help Girls' Generation, we encourage one another."

In relation to how long the group might last, Sunny said the girls received this question ever since their debut and after a while, realized that they were indeed a generation and wanted to remain so forever.

Sunny discusses playing a married character for the first time in 'Rio 2'

Girls' Generation's Sunny commented on her voice-over role for the animated movie 'Rio 2'.

Sunny, who voices the parrot Jewel, attended the press conference for the film on April 8. She shared, "I had a lot of fun watching the original 'Rio', so when I received the casting offer for 'Rio 2', I accepted right away."

She added, "When I confirmed I'd be voicing the role, I found out that I'd be playing a mother of three. I was caught offguard when I found out that I'd be playing a married woman for the first time."

'Rio 2' is about parrots Blu, Jewel, and their three kids who leave their home in Rio de Janeiro to journey to the Amazon rainforest.

Update: Taeyeon Appears on SBS’s ‘The World’s Most Beautiful Trip’

Update on April 9th, 2014:

On April 8th, Taeyeon made a brief appearance on SBS’s “The World’s Most Beautiful Trip”. The show revealed Taeyeon’s meeting with Woojin, a young fan who suffers from muscular dystrophy, which took place after a performance of “Mr.Mr.” at SBS’s “Inkigayo” on March 30th. Taeyeon thanked Woojin for coming, saying, “We perform because there are fans who come to see us. So thank you for coming.” Taeyeon also invited him to Girls’ Generation’s concert in Korea after the group completes its upcoming Japan tour and presented him with her signature on a copy of the “Mr.Mr.” album.

The young boy is fan of Taeyeon, and so his parent’s and the show’s staff arranged for the two to meet on the show.

A description for the episode was released, which read, “This special meeting that ‘The World’s Most Beautiful Trip’ team has arranged! The opportunity to meet Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, who had been a comfort in his fight with his illness. Will Woojin be able to take another step at the world through this special meeting?”

Taeyeon’s appearance on “The World’s Most Beautiful Trip” will air later tonight at 5:35 PM KST.

Seohyun Attends ‘Helianthus S/S 2014 LESLEY Line Presentation’

On April 9th, Seohyun attended Helianthus’s 2014 S/S presentation of its LESLEY line of designer bags. Seohyun arrived at the event in a an elegant white outfit and modeled several of the bags while posing for photos by the press.

Sooyoung Attends ‘Bruno Mars Moonshine Jungle Tour 2014′

On April 8th, Sooyoung attended the Seoul concert for the “Bruno Mars Moonshine Jungle Tour 2014″ at Olympic Park. Dressed in a gray suit and sneakers, Sooyoung posed for pictures for members of the media and greeted fans before entering the concert venue. Other celebrities that also watched the concert included CNBLUE, Jung Ryeowon, Yoon Seungah, Ji Jinhee, and a few others.
