Girls’ Generation Members Send New Year’s Greetings on Instagram, Weibo, Twitter, and Official Website

In commemoration of the new year, members of Girls’ Generation left messages for fans through their accounts on Instagram, Weibo, and Twitter, as well as on Girls’ Generation’s official website. The members wished their fans, families, and friends a happy new year through their various posts.

Jessica posted a photo on her Weibo account with a message reading, “hello 2014 ♥ Happy New Year”. She also later left a comment on her photo, saying, “I’m really really looking forward to ddukguk tomorrow morning. Euhehet*. Have a very happy new year”.

Sunny chose to share a photo through her Instagram account with a caption that expressing her new year’s greetings and left two messages through Twitter. Sunny’s photo shows her dressed in her outfit for the “MBC Gayo Daejejun“, which took place on December 31st.

YoonA nabbed the actress award for 'Prime Minister and I', while Oh Ji Ho took the 'Excellence Award' for actor in the mini-series 'Queen of the Office'. She said, "I didn't even expect this. 'Prime Minister and I' is still airing, so I was thankful just to be nominated. I thank the director, writer, and my fellow actors. I'm embarrassed to be getting this award in front of all my sunbaes here. I'd like to become an actress who does true acting like the many sunbaes."

Girls' Generation visits Yoona on the set of "Prime Minister and I"

Girls' Generation visited "Prime Minister and I" filming set. 

On December 30th, through SM Entertainment official twitter account, a group photo of Girls' Generation was released with caption,"Girls' Generation supports Yoona's drama "Prime Minister and I". It was revealed that the girls also made a visit to the filming set on 29th. Even though it was on the same day as SBS Gayo Daejun but they still managed to make an appearance to cheer for Yoona. 

Netizen comment,"They have such a close sisterhood","They all look beautiful","The staff must be so happy", and so on.

Yoona and Lee Seunggi are dating

A breaking news to begin 2014, Girls' Generation's Yoona and  Lee Seunggi were spotted dating!

Dispatch revealed some photos of Yoona and Lee Seunggi enjoying several dates. According to reliable sources, they started to see each other back in September 2013 and it has been 4 months since they started dating.

They were spotted together again on 13th and 22nd October.

To this, netizen have mixed responses, some comments include,"they look great together, congratulations","my goddess Yoona T.T","So sweet","They make a great couple" and etc.

Yoona Hosts ’2013 KBS Drama Awards’ and Wins ‘Outstanding Actress in a Mini Series’ Award

On December 31st, Yoona hosted the “2013 KBS Drama Awards”. Her co-MCs, Lee Misook, Shin Hyunjoon, and Joo Sangwook, hosted the first half of the award show, while Yoona joined as a host for the second half after changing into a black dress.

Yoona was also nominated in two categories, “Best Actress” and “Best Couple” (with her co-star, Lee Bumsoo), at the “2013 KBS Drama Awards”. Yoona and Lee Bumsoo were one of four pairs to win the “Best Couple” award, while Yoona also received the award for “Outstanding Actress in a Mini Series”.

Girls’ Generation Performs in ’2013 MBC Gayo Daejejun’

After performing in the “2013 KBS Gayo Daechukje” and the “2013 SBS Gayo Daejun“, Girls’ Generation performed in the final end-of-year music festival earlier tonight at the “2013 MBC Gayo Daejejun” to end 2013 and ring in the new year.

Girls’ Generation was featured in two stages at the “MBC Gayo Daejejun”: will.i.am’s “Bang Bang”, a collaboration between Tiffany and SHINee’s Key, and “I Got A Boy” as the final performance of the night. Though Yoona was unable to attend the event due to the “2013 KBS Drama Awards”, Girls’ Generation performed a remix of “I Got A Boy” with a special dance introduction while dressed in white outfits. Girls’ Generation was also interviewed in a brief segment in the middle of the show.
