Yuri Opens Instagram Account

On June 13th, Yuri opened an Instagram account under the username yulyulk and shared a photo of herself from Girls’ Generation’s “2013 Girls’ Generation’s World Tour – Girls & Peace” tour.

Yuri is now the third member of Girls’ Generation to join the photo sharing service, following Taeyeonand Hyoyeon. Taeyeon recently uploaded a photo of herself and the members of Girls’ Generation from the world tour concerts in Seoul, and included a caption tagging both Hyoyeon and Yuri.

All of the photos Taeyeon and Hyoyeon have uploaded and their captions can also be found on Soshified. Yuri’s photos will be shown below and updated with their captions translated as well.

Jessica Chosen as New Muse for Fashion Brand SOUP

The best popular icon, Girls’ Generation’s Jessica, was chosen as the new muse for Dongkwang International’s romantic, young, casual brand, SOUP.

Regarding the background of the model selection, a source from Dongkwang International’s marketing team stated, “Jessica, who has been active in many quarters as an all-around entertainer, on stage as well as on television, seemed to match the bright and lovely charms of a young girl.”

Dongkwang is expecting an explosive amount of popularity with this casting being a turning point, approaching SOUP’s target of women in their early 20s at a wide range. They also revealed that they are planning on showing Jessica’s collaboration line soon.

Meanwhile, on the set of the first shoot with Jessica which took place late last month, Jessica discussed the concept and style herself with the staff, completing her own SOUP style. The SOUP filming set and advertisement cut teaser are planned to be revealed through their homepage, Facebook, blog, and SNS.

On August 10th, Tiffany appeared in a new clip for Mnet’s “Dancing 9″. The video features the 25-year-old singer, on the set of “Dancing 9″, giving a short supportive message for her fellow members on the show. WEDCAT and IPKN Feature Tiffany in New Behind-the-Scenes Clip

Recently, WEDCAT and IPKN released behind-the-scenes footage of a photoshoot with Tiffany. It was stated that she was chosen from the members of Girls’ Generation for her voice and looks. Daniel Henney Reveals His Fondness of Girls’ Generation

On August 5th, during the press conference for his new movie , “Spy”, actor Daniel Henney revealed, “I like girl groups. Between all of them, I like Girls’ Generation.” 

He added, “Out of the Girls’ Generation members, I like Jessica. She’s very cute, and I’ve met her a few times at events as well.” Coincidentally, 

late last year, Jessica chose Henney as her ideal type. Regarding this, he replied, “I’m aware of that. I’m thankful.”

Girls’ Generation to Perform at “Suncheon Garden Expo 2013″ on August 31st

Girls’ Generation is set to perform as part of the lineup for the “Suncheon Garden Expo 2013″ on August 31st. This will not the first time Girls’ Generation has taken part in the exposition; Girls’ Generation – TTS previously appeared at the event last year and gave an outstanding performance.

SONE Picture/Video of the Week

SONEs all around the world celebrated the special day marking six years since Girls’ Generation made their debut on August 5th, 2007. In honor of the special event, Arab SONEs made adorable cupcakes as part of their “Arab Sone Project” for the girls’ anniversary. Each cupcake features the initials of one member and a unique color. In addition to the collection, a SONE cupcake was added, proving that Girls’ Generation will always be supported by worldwide fans.
