Yuri Opens Instagram Account

On June 13th, Yuri opened an Instagram account under the username yulyulk and shared a photo of herself from Girls’ Generation’s “2013 Girls’ Generation’s World Tour – Girls & Peace” tour.

Yuri is now the third member of Girls’ Generation to join the photo sharing service, following Taeyeonand Hyoyeon. Taeyeon recently uploaded a photo of herself and the members of Girls’ Generation from the world tour concerts in Seoul, and included a caption tagging both Hyoyeon and Yuri.

All of the photos Taeyeon and Hyoyeon have uploaded and their captions can also be found on Soshified. Yuri’s photos will be shown below and updated with their captions translated as well.

Jessica Opens Weibo Account

On June 23rd, Jessica surprised fans by opening a Weibo account under the username of Sy__Jessica. She uploaded a cute selca of herself as her display picture and posted a short message: “Hi Weibo friends, it’s nice to finally be here! Let’s have some fun! [可爱]

“.

Jessica is now the fourth member to have opened an account on a photo sharing service. All the photos that Jessica has shared will be uploaded below along with the translated versions of her messages.

Taeyeon Shares Photos Using New Instagram Account

On March 17th, Taeyeon opened an Instagram account and, to the delight of fans, has begun to share photos with her rapidly growing list of followers. Instagram is a photo-sharing service that allows users to quickly take pictures and share them through the internet.

Taeyeon continues to upload new images to her Instagram, ranging from a snapshot of her shoes to a photo of a road in Japan. Taeyeon also posted a message in an image, in which she explained why she chose to begin using Instagram. Her message reads:

Everyone! This is Taeyeon from Japan~

I am always looking for ways to interact with you all, and I want to share happy news with you all the time!

I’ve always used the official homepage and UFOtown but I felt that was missing… something?

(There are lots of small things that I want to share from time to time)

But it’s not like I can spam the official homepage… that’s just not right ㅜ

and UFOtown is just me receiving questions to answer..

I thought… it would be nice if I could ask you questions as well ^^

I know exactly what everyone is worried about right now.

I also don’t want me or anyone close to me to be hurt..

The reason I started Instagram was to be closer with you all!

The time I spend outside of Korea increases

and because of that, the number of international SONEs increases.

I wanted to… share more simple, interesting, trivial things.

I will uploads pictures like everyone else!

It’s very similar to the official page. The only difference is that the main topic is Taeyeon.

But remember that this doesn’t mean I will stop using the official homepage or UFOtown, so

whoever wants to ask me questions, use UFO >_<

Hyoyeon and Yuri Present ‘Icon of 20′s’ Award at Mnet ’20′s Choice Awards’

On July 18th, Hyoyeon and Yuri presented Lee Hyori with the “Icon of 20′s” award at the 2013 Mnet “20′s Choice Awards”. The “20′s Choice Awards” is an annual show which looks into the cultural trends of the year.

Hyoyeon and Yuri, who stunned in white and black dresses, were the final presenters of the night and appeared at the end of the show to introduce the “Icon of 20′s” award. Yuri described an icon as someone who is a trend leader, more than just someone popular who has become a star. Hyoyeon also jokingly states that the members of Girls’ Generation should work hard next year in order to be able to look at the “Icon of 20′s” award in their own hands.
