Hyoyeon Opens Instagram Account

On May 3rd, Hyoyeon opened an Instagram account and began posting pictures on the popular photo-sharing service. Hyoyeon’s first uploads centered on a trip to Bangkok, Thailand, and she has since uploaded a seven-frame photoset and selcas with SHINee’s Key and miss A’s Min.

Hyoyeon can be found on Instagram under the username watasiwahyo. Taeyeon and Hyoyeon are currently the only members of Girls’ Generation with official Instagram accounts.

Girls' Generation and Jang Dong Gun lose their lawsuit against cosmetic clinic that used their image

Girls' Generation and Jang Dong Gun have lost their lawsuit against an optometrist and his cosmetic clinic that allegedly used their image without permission.

The lawsuit was filed back in January at the Seoul Central District Court, whereSM Entertainment said, "People can access their site just by looking up our names on the internet. This will mislead people into thinking we have connections to the clinic or have had plastic surgery in the past." 

However, they lost the lawsuit at the hearing that took place on the 13th. The judge ruled, "It's not that Doctor Kim had purposely used the images himself, but that the others used it [directing to the website]. There is no evidence that points to saying that Doctor Kim should be held responsible for the use."

In other words, the judge ruled that since it was internet users uploading images that directly affected the results and links to the website and not Doctor Kim himself, he shouldn't be held responsible.

However, the agency said, "We will definitely appeal this ruling". On the celebrities' separate suit on their portrait rights, the agency said, "We cannot give you the details because it is an ongoing legal matter."

Girls' Generation release BTS photos from their Seoul stop of the world tour!

We saw a lot of photos of Girls' Generation on stage for their first stop of their world tour, and Eunhyuk also gave us a little peek behind the scenes, but if that wasn't enough for you, the girls have released a bunch of photos from backstage!

The photos were released via Naver's Starcast. The photos show the girls' fooling around with other SM Entertainment celebrities backstage. Comedian Kim Shin Young also came to cheer Sunny and Yuri, as the trio got close on 'Invincible Youth'.

‘The Queen’s Classroom’ OST Releases Sunny’s ‘The 2nd Drawer’

Sunny’s “The 2nd Drawer” has been officially released. The song can be downloaded from various online music sites such as MelOn (one-minute preview), Mnet (one-minute preview), and Bugs! (one-minute preview).

Girls’ Generation’s Sunny will be releasing a new OST track, entitled “The 2nd Drawer”, for MBC’s Wednesday/Thursday drama, “The Queen’s Classroom”. The series centers around the conflicts and struggles between sixth grade female teacher Ma Yeojin, played by Ko Hyunjung, and her various students. “The 2nd Drawer” will express in great detail the feelings of one of the main students, Shim Hana, played by child-actress Kim Hyang-Gi. The ballad consists of a lyrical melody that harmonizes well with Sunny’s vocal color and style.

Sunny’s “The 2nd Drawer” will release today, June 13th, at 12:00 PM KST. The song will be available for download from various online music sites.

Tiffany Interviews Brad Pitt for ‘World War Z’ on ‘Midnight TV Entertainment’

On June 12th, Tiffany appeared in a special segment on SBS’s “Midnight TV Entertainment” to interview Brad Pitt, who had traveled to South Korea to promote his upcoming film, “World War Z”. The interview took place at Geunjeongjeon of Gyeongbok Palace.

Before the interview began, Tiffany presented Brad Pitt with a pair of wooden geese, a traditional gift for newlyweds meant to symbolize fidelity. In addition, Tiffany asked Brad Pitt to greet Sooyoung, who has been a fan of Brad Pitt for years and is the host of “Midnight TV Entertainment” alongside Yoon Dohyun.

During the interview, Brad Pitt revealed his experience in Korea, his thoughts on his career, and his motivation for making “World War Z”. Tiffany also taught him the word “daebak” in order to describe his film to Korean fans.

In the “Midnight TV Entertainment” studio, Sooyoung explained that the members of Girls’ Generation all know that she been a fan of Brad Pitt since she was younger, and so Tiffany said that she would be sure to ask him to give a greeting to MC Sooyoung. She continued, “I thought after, there would be an ‘I love you, Sooyoung.’”

Girls' Generation's Tiffany, who recently scored kisses on the cheek from Brad Pitt, gave another beautiful selca set for SONEs to add to their collections!

Tiffany switched her UFO Town profile photo with cute selcas from bed. She didn't forget to give her trademark, irresistible wink to fans and flashed her V sign, giving the rest of her members a run for their money in the battle for the cutest Girls' Generation member.

SONEs commented, "Tiffany is innocent, sexy, and cute all in one," "Tiffany is so pretty these days," and "She has porcelain skin."

Girls' Generation will also be coming to a town near some of you SONEs during their '2013 Girls' Generation World Tour - Girls & Peace'.

Sunny sings “Second Drawer” for ‘The Queen’s Classroom’ OST

Girls’ Generation’s Sunny has lent her voice for the original soundtrack of MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘The Queen’s Classroom’.

On June 13th, Sunny released her latest single titled “Second Drawer” on various online music sites. It is the theme song of one of the main students, Shim Hana, played by child-actress Kim Hyang Gi. The song is an emotional ballad consists of a lyrical melody that harmonizes well with Sunny’s vocal color and style.
