Yuri practices playing guitar for upcoming movie

Girls’ Generation’s Yuri is determined to become a great musician for her role in upcoming debut movie, ‘No Breathing’.

On June 4th, Yuri posted a photo of herself strumming her guitar on Girls’ Generation’s official homepage and wrote:

No Breathing. I film tomorrow~^^

In order to become school band member Jungeun, dinggaringdingga

I’ve been playing the guitar and playing these days^^

Laaaaater on~ I’m going to work hard

In order to show Yul playing guitar and singing on stage.

Until I get blisters on my fingers, heating.

Yuri will be making her full-fledged debut on the big screen with ‘No Breathing’. She will play the role of Jung Eun, a girl who dreams of becoming a musician.

Girls' Generation release dance version "Love & Girls" PV

Girls' Generation will be releasing their new Japanese single "LOVE&GIRLS" on June 19, but they've brought another thing to keep SONEs occupied in the meantime with a new dance version of the PV!

The girls filmed the music video with a crowd in a carnival-like atmosphere, and the song is happy and fun with a cute, bright choreography to match. 

"LOVE&GIRLS" will come in two editions, Limited and Regular, with the Limited edition including a DVD containing the PV for "LOVE&GIRLS". The coupling track for both editions will also be a brand new track titled "Lingua Franca".

Jessica Wins ‘Popular Star’ Award at ‘The 7th Musical Awards’

On June 3rd, Jessica received the “Popular Star” award at “The 7th Musical Awards”.

Jessica and Super Junior’s Kyuhyun arrived together for the award ceremony’s red carpet event, where Jessica posed for photos and stunned in an elegant dress.

During the awards ceremony, Jessica won the “Popular Star” award for playing Elle Woods in “Legally Blonde”, a role she took on earlier this year for the second time after having starred in the musical’s first run in 2009 and 2010. She received the award with Kyuhyun.

Jessica later posted a message on Girls’ Generation’s official website to give her thanks to fans who voted for her. She received over 8,000 votes.

Taeyeon has everyone excited because she may be hinting at a comeback!

She recently uploaded a photo of a butterfly with its body in the form of a microphone and its wings as a '3' onto her Instagram. Fans think that it may signal a comeback of some sorts, especially with the caption that read, "#3 #9 #butterfly #TY #Taenggu #soon".

People are taking the '#3' to mean the 3 members of subunit TaeTiSeo, and the '#9' to symbolize Girls' Generation. The 'soon' probably means that the girls are going to be doing something soon, and it's got everyone excited!

After receiving the “Popular Star” award at ‘The 7th Musical Awards’, Girls’ Generation’s Jessica thanked her fans with a set of lovely selcas.

On June 3, Jessica posted a message on Girls’ Generation’s official website saying, “Thank you, SONE^^ I received a really special award today~ There were over 8,000 votes. A round of applause to you all! Let’s hurry and meet at the concert.”

Jessica won the “Popular Star” award for playing Elle Woods in the musical “Legally Blonde”. She received the award with Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, who starred in “Catch Me If You Can”.

Jessica and Kyuhyun became the focus of the cameras on the red carpet at the '7th Musical Awards' held on June 3 at the National Theatre of Korea in Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu.

The pair attended the 'Musical Awards' not as members of Girls' Generation or Super Junior but as musical actor and actress, most notably for their roles in 'Legally Blonde' and 'The Three Musketeers', respectively.

Their presence alone enough would have been enough to be the center of attention, but when they started walking arm-in-arm, people couldn't believe how good they looked together! Maybe they're not a real couple, but they still look pretty cute together!
