Sooyoung Shines in the First Episode of ‘Dating Agency; Cyrano’

tvN uploaded the entire first episode of “Dating Agency; Cyrano” on their YouTube channel. Check out the full episode below.

On May 27th, Sooyoung made her first appearance in the premiere of the tvN drama, “Dating Agency; Cyrano”. In the days leading up to the first episode, tvN released a number of teasers and held the show’s official press conference on May 22nd. SONEs also showed their support for Sooyoung and her newest acting endeavor. In return, Sooyoung personally left a sweet and heartwearing message on Girls’ Generation’s official website to show her appreciation for the overwhelming support.

tvN continued to release numerous new teasers for “Dating Agency; Cyrano” on their official YouTube channel. The video clips, along with a number of new drama images, can be seen below. Excited by all of the preparation and publicity, fans eagerly awaited the first episode of the drama and were treated to a fun premiere. Sooyoung, who plays the role of Gong Minyoung, is immediately spotted at the start of the show. The drama goes on to reveal how Minyoung is introduced to the “Dating Agency” as she meets the other agency members, including leader Seo Byunghoon, played by Lee Jonghyuk. Other hilarious scenes ensue as Minyoung and Byunghoon start to clash and other characters and clients of the agency are introduced. Throughout the episode, Sooyoung shows the range of her acting talent as she provides plenty of laughs while also portraying dramatic scenes with fantastic ability. Sooyoung Shows Her Excitement for the First Episode of ‘Dating Agency; Cyrano’

Sooyoung recently posted a message on Girls’ Generation’s official website concerning the upcoming debut broadcast of “Dating Agency; Cyrano”.

Pit-a-pat~ Because there isn’t much time left until the first broadcast, I’m constantly nervous!! ㅎㅎ

It’s not the first time, but whenever a teaser or a preview was revealed,

I was so nervous.. You all probably feel the same way, right?ㅎ

Still, taking time to see my members’ faces and meeting foreign SONEs at the Thailand schedule gave me strength. ^-^♥

Even on the day of the press conference.. The rice wreaths and mangoes that you all sent from various countries!

There was dog food too~ ㅎㅎ Thank you so much ..

I was really touchedㅠㅠ I get strength from your sincerity ^-^♥

A few months ago, I received the script, and I made time during the tour

to keep preparing, but I think I’m always lacking..

Then, before an overseas schedule, I quickly requested sos [translator's note: help] from the director…

Also, during the meeting with the director, Lee Jonghyuk sunbae, who came out to help get the script in tune and encouraged me..

(I said I called him out at the press conference,

but I was rambling, so I think what I said was misleadingㅠㅠ)

Really, at the set too, he’s like a reliable sunbae at some times and always treats me comfortably .. ㅎㅎ

The other senior actors are really nice too..

I really must have some good fortune when it comes to people ^-^.. ㅎㅎ

After ‘The 3rd Hospital’, I’m able to act in another thankful surrounding…

I feel it’s another way for me to show and communicate with you all, so I’m always happy.

The first broadcast that’s not long away.

I wonder what sides of Minyoung and Sooyoung will be alike…

SNSD and 2NE1 to meet on one catwalk for Asia Style Collection

This is the chance to see the two of the most highly favored Korean girl groups in Kpop  in one event.

Girls Generation and 2NE1 are going to attend the inauguration of Asia Style Collection conducted by MediaCorp and stylexstyle.com. The event is a combination of style and entertainment extravaganza which is going to be held at the Singapore expo.

2NE1 and SNSD will lead the K-POP fashion collection segment. Some amateur designers will also be given the chance to showcase their own collection.

The event happens on June 22. It will start with a carnival at 3PM and the main event takes place at 6PM.

Sooyoung’s Fans Energize the Set of ‘Dating Agency; Cyrano’

Choi Sooyoung’s fanclub members presented a food truck and snacks for the staff and actors putting their all into the filming of tvN’s “Dating Agency; Cyrano”, despite the hot weather.

For Choi Sooyoung, who is in charge of the emotion-filled romanticist, Gong Minyoung, in the new tvN Monday/Tuesday drama, “Dating Agency; Cyrano”, scheduled to air on this coming 27th, fans blew energy into the set with a food truck that would feed 100 people, as well as refreshing coffee.

The staff, who were continuing filming late into dawn in Namyang-ju, had a sweet rest after showing a passionate response to the coffee truck prepared by Choi Sooyoung’s fans [translator's note: the banner reads "Have a coffee with Sooyoung!!" using the word "Cyrano" as a pun]. A food truck, prepared for another day, delivered laughs with the witty banner reading, “Gong Minyoung is buying! Eat the food tastily.” [translator's note: "Cyrano" was used again as a pun]

A source on set stated, “Thanks to the seolleongtang [translator's note: a type of soup] and coffee prepared by the fans with sincerity, the staff, along with the stars, enjoyed a relaxing meal as well as tea time.”

Choi Sooyoung gave autographs to fans who personally came to the filming location, took photos with them, and sent her thanks. Until she had to go back to filming, she greeted them several times saying, “Thank you so so much for personally coming to the set,” maintaining a heart-warming atmosphere.

The first episode of “Dating Agency; Cyrano” will air on May 27th at 11:00PM KST on tvN.
