Girls’ Generation wants to be called artists instead of idols

Girls’ Generation seriously discussed their position as musicians in the industry.

The group appeared on a Japanese documentary program MBS’ ‘Jounetsu-Tairiku’ and revealed their great life as singers as well as their behind stories about their hardships and concerns as a group.

During the interview, the members were asked to place themselves between ‘idol’ and ‘artist’.Jessica expressed her disappointment at what the word ‘idol’ has come to mean, saying “an idol is someone who is admired by the youth, but these days, any young singer can be called an idol.”

Sooyoung added, “Honestly, we want to be called an artist.” Yuri then pointed out that those titles cannot be decided on one’s own and that the right is given to the public.

Hyoyeon, Min, and Han Ga In look stunning at the ‘EEG&EMG Spring Banquet 2013′ in Hong Kong

Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon and miss A‘s Min proved that they’re still close friends once again alongside actress Han Ga In.

The snapshot of the stars were uploaded recently on a Chinese online community site and show Hyoyeon and Min having some fun with their colorful dresses while Han Ga In opts for a more simple, yet sophisticated black dress.

The three stars recently attended the ‘EEG&EMG Spring Banquet 2013‘ in Hong Kong on the 13th as representatives of Korea.

Jessica and Krystal show off their sisterly love

f(x)‘s Krystal and Girl’s Generation‘s Jessica – more commonly known as the ‘Jung sisters’ – took a brief moment to indulge in some time off with each other.

The two beautiful Jung sisters unintentionally had an ‘abs-off’ in their individual photo shoots.

Girls’ Generation‘s Jessica revealed her toned stomach for the April issue of ‘W Korea‘ where she showed her sexy side by matching a short lace top with white skinny jeans, while f(x)‘s Krystal took on spring fashion with a street casual look for ‘Vogue Girl‘. She showed off her abs in a cropped top and white skinny jeans as well.

Although it’s too close to call which sister has nicer abs, it’s easy to tell the sisters have inherited some superb genes.

Netizens also complimented the two stars on their flawless figures.

Taeyeon looks the same as 4 years ago

Girls’ Generation leader Taeyeon’s photo from four years ago has gained a lot of interest from netizens.

Recently, a couple of photos were uploaded on an online community board under the title of “Taeyeon from 4 years ago”, showing off her unchanging beauty.

The post compiled a recently taken photo and another one taken from four years ago. Taeyeon’s image is as bright, youthful and cheerful as it was four years ago. She is showing the same lovely smile and still boasts a beautiful complexion and adorable face to match.
