Pre-debut photos of idol stars revealed

 Pre-debut photos of today’s popular idols are gaining hot attention.

Several pre-debut selcas of current female idol stars were posted recently on an online community board. The post includes Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, Jessica, Yuri, Taeyeon and Tiffany, miss A’s Suzy, KARA’s Kang Jiyoung and IU.

In the photos, each idol is making unique and adorable facial expression. While they look quite different from the charismatic image they show on stage, all of them still boast of perfect beauty from even before debut.

Tiffany does the ‘cutie player’ on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’

 

Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany showed off her cute side during one of her MC segments on MBC‘s ‘Show! Music Core‘.

 

The segment aired on December 15th, during which she did the ‘guiyomi player’ or ‘cutie player’, which has been a recent trend online.

 

Tiffany asked, “Do you know the cutie song?” and proceeded to do the motions, exclaiming “1+1 is cutie, 2+2 is cutie..” and so on. While Tiffany was doing the ‘cutie player’, MCs Seohyun and Taeyeon watched and followed along hesitantly, looking just as adorable as Tiffany.

 

Upon seeing the video, netizens commented, “Tiffany is so cute” and “The two girls next to her look so embarrassed“.

Sunny Reprises Her Role as 'Brenda' in the Musical 'Catch Me If You Can'

Sunny has returned as “Brenda” for a second run of the musical “Catch Me If You Can”. Her first performance was met with several wreaths and a generous rice donation.

The wreath from Girls’ Generation starts with, “Soonkyu’s cuties, Girls’ Generation bbuing bbuing”, reminding everyone of Sunny’s infamous aegyo. The hangul of “Girls’ Generation” is written as “소 ㄴ 녀시대”, which is a pun that means “Granddaughters’ Generation”. The members are making a reference to the wreath they sent for the first run of the musical, in which they used the nickname “60Sunny“. The second ribbon finishes the message by using a play on the girls’ hit song, “Run Devil Run”: “OH The one even greater than them, Kyurenda returns OH”.

Another wreath was sent by usnthem, a Korean Girls’ Generation fan-club.The message says, “Our Sunny’s confidence is tall, and her self-conviction is tall, too.” Then it adds, “As for height, this tree is ta—ller [for her] instead”. Fan-clubs also donated rice in celebration of Sunny’s first performance, amounting to a grand total of 1,676 kilograms.
