G-STAR RAW Japan unveils photos of their new endorsement models, Girls’ Generation


G-STAR RAW Japan has selected Girls’ Generation as their new endorsement models just in time for the opening of a new store in Tokyo!
The new flagship store will be opening on November 13th and Girls’ Generation catalog photos will be covering the windows as well as the interior to showcase the various denim looks that will be out for the upcoming spring collection.
Ahead of the opening, group photos as well as the individual photos of the Girls’ Generation members were revealed, giving us a glimpse into what we can expect to see from the new collection.

Sooyoung sports a short cut for ’3rd Hospital’


tvN‘s ‘3rd Hospital‘ released a still cut of Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung with short hair.
During a recent shooting, Sooyoung secretly left the hospital because her tumor came back after a month and a half of treatment. In the still cut, Sooyoung wore a white blouse and a long skirt, looking plain but managing to glow anyway. Her short hair snagged the attention of many netizens. Fans wondered if she had actually cut her hair, but ’3rd Hospital’ revealed that the short hair was merely a wig.
Fans commented, “Sooyoung looks great with short hair“, and “She looks great no matter what she wears“.

Hyoyeon blows Seohyun away with a punch?


Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon and Seohyun‘s rock-paper-scissors game on stage has become a hot issue.
A Girls’ Generation fanpage posted photos of the two members playing rock-paper-scissors on stage. Whoever was the loser of the round received a penalty.
In the first set of photos, Seohyun lost, and Hyoyeon dealt her a “slap” to the face, causing Seohyun to fly away. In the second set, Seohyun won and she punished Hyoyeon by thumping her on the head. In the last set, Hyoyeon won yet again, and threw Seohyun a powerful “punch”, making Seohyun fly backward from its force.
Netizens commented, “The two of them play around so happily“, and “Seohyun should practice a bit more“.

SM Entertainment artists attend SMTOWN Celebrity Party



Through its newly launched Twitter account, SMTOWN tweeted about its ‘SMTOWN Celebrity Party’ on October 24th and revealed a few photos of the agency’s artists at the event.

The celebrities who attended the event are SM artists such as Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, SHINee, Super Junior, etc as well as actors and entertainers like Jang DongGun, Kim HaNeul, Kim MinJong and Shin DongYup.

In the photos revealed, Jang DongGun, Kim HaNeul and Shin DongYup who had just joined the SM family recently, seemed to be enjoying themselves alongside the SMTOWN artists.

Netizen who saw the Twitter posts commented, “This looks like an award ceremony”, “Wow, from Jang DongGun to Girls’ Generation.. it’s awesome”, “The agency’s party is really a big-scale one”, etc.

Jessica’s advertisement for ‘banila co.’ revealed


Recently, Girls’ Generation‘s Jessica was chosen as an endorsement model for the cosmetic brand, ‘banila co.’
After revealing a couple of head shots from her photo shoot just last month, another photo from Jessica’s advertisement for the brand was revealed.
In the picture, Jessica could be seen with a natural look, without the smokey eye makeup she wore for the previously revealed photos.
Not only this, but netizens were pleasantly surprised to find that the girl group member had shed her chic image to showcase a more natural, feminine image for the advertisement.
Meanwhile, the other Girls’ Generation members are currently working on their individual activities and activities overseas.
