Scenes of fans waving hearts greeting in New York October for “SMTOWN in NEW YORK” were shown as “Nightline” begins to explain K-Pop beyond the success of “Gangnam Style”. “Nightline”'s explores the K-Pop industry through SM Entertainment, and even went the offices for a behind-the-scenes at the process. The reporter for “Nightline” singled out ' Generation, , ”The hottest act, a nine member group Girls' Generation.”
Clips from SM artists' from Super Junior, f(x), and EXO were shown, as well as ' Generation's including “Genie”, “ Devil ”, “Gee”, and “The ” , the reporter referenced 's chart topping success.
