Sooyoung to host SBS 'Midnight TV Entertainment' with Yoon DoHyun!

Sooyoung and Yoon DoHyun were selected as the new MCs for SBS ‘Midnight TV Entertainment’.

On May 30th, a production staff of SBS said, “It’s time for ‘Midnight TV Entertainment’ to have new MCs in order to move forward. Yoon DoHyun’s ability to connect with the younger generations and Sooyoung’s lively charm would give ‘Midnight TV Entertainment’ a whole new appeal.”

Starting from June 6th, Yoon DoHyun and Sooyoung will be the new MCs of the program, replacing Seo KyungSuk and Yoo InNa who will be carrying out their final MC-ing duties for May 30th broadcast. Seo KyungSuk has been one of the MCs on SBS ‘Midnight TV Entertainment’ for 7 years and 1 month.

Yoona Reflects on Her Time in 'Love Rain'!

Yoona, who starred in KBS 2TV’s Monday-Tuesday drama, “Love Rain”, (script by Oh Sooyeon, directed by Yoon Sukho), talked with Star News on May 30th through SM Entertainment. She said, “During ‘Love Rain’, I reflected on myself and considered it to be valuable time.”

Yoona continued, “It’s been a while since I was in a drama. ‘Love Rain’ is a drama that has allowed me to experience a lot of different emotions which I couldn’t feel before in my previous works. But above all, it was good to have time to reflect on myself once more.”

Yoona also mentioned, “I was even happier that I got to work with good actors and staff. I will try my best to grow and improve for everyone.”

She also said to the viewers, “Thank you so much to those who showed their support for ‘Love Rain’.” She told them, “Look forward to Yoona’s different image,” adding that, “She will become a more mature actress.”

The last episode of “Love Rain” aired on the May 29th, which brought a conclusion to the love story between Jang Geunsuk and Yoona’s characters, Seo Joon and Jung Hana.

Girls’ Generation member YoonA and Jang Geun Suk‘s wedding photo has been revealed.

On May 30th, Jang Geun Suk shared the photo above via his Twitter page. The photo was for the happy ending of the recently concluded KBS 2TV drama ‘Love Rain‘, and the two wearing a tux and a lavish wedding dress gave big smiles for the camera.

“You guys worked hard,” netizens wrote in response to the photo, along with “You two look so good together“, and “I’m so glad there was a happy ending.”

In related news, ‘Love Rain’ which drew in high viewer ratings with it’s ardent and sad love story came to an end with episode 20 on May 29th.

Taeyeon unqualified to donate blood

Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon was deemed unqualified to donate blood.

The members of Girls’ Generation took part in a blood donation event for KBS 1TV‘s ‘Love Request‘ back in September, and after IU revealed her true weight on ‘Strong Heart‘, netizens have once again brought up the topic about Taeyeon being turned away as a donor.

Taeyeon met with a doctor to hold a consultation session, but the singer was told she would be unable to donate blood that day, as she weighs less than the required minimum weight of 45kg (99.2lbs).

Donors must be between 16 and 65 years of age, and men are required to weigh at least 50kg (110 lbs), while women must weigh at least 99.2lbs.

“She unintentionally proved to weigh less than the 45kg requirement,” fans wrote after hearing the news, along with “I guess IU can’t give blood either,” and “I had no idea there were such requirements.”

In related news, Taeyeon is currently promoting with Tiffany and Seohyun as ‘TaeTiSeo‘, a subgroup of Girls’ Generation.

A pirated DVD of SBS‘s ‘Fashion King‘ which has recently surfaced left many people baffled with its glaring error.

The photo above was posted on an online community board with the title, “Continental pirated ‘Fashion King’ DVD“.

The cover of the bootleg DVD features the original cast of Girls’ Generation‘s Yuri, Yoo Ah In, and Lee Jae Hoon, but has replaced the lead actress Shin Se Kyung with Girls‘ Generation‘sSeohyun.

Netizens who saw the photo commented, “The bootleg DVD of ‘Fashion King’ is ridiculous“, “How can you confuse Shin Se Kyung with Seohyun?“, and “This illegal copy of ‘Fashion King’ is pretty serious“

Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung and Yoon Do Hyun have been selected as the newest MCs for SBS‘s ‘One Night Of TV Entertainment‘.

A representative from SBS informed OhMyStar on May 30th, “Yoon Do Hyun and Sooyoung will be emceeing ‘One Night Of TV Entertainment’ after Seo Kyung Suk and Yoo In Na.”

Yoon Do Hyun and Sooyoung will be leading the show starting on June 6th.
