Hyoyeon and Kim Hyun Suk come in first place on ‘Dancing With The Stars 2′

Hyoyeon and Kim Hyung Suk claimed their very first win on MBC TV‘s ‘Dancing With The Stars 2‘.

On the May 18th broadcast of ’Dancing With The Stars 2‘, the eleven teams put on lavish performances for their second live stage.

Wearing a vibrant red dress, Hyoyeon and her partner put on a powerful tango dance, closing it with a kiss pose at the end. Fellow group member Tiffany who was in the audience cheered her on with excited applause.

The Hyoyeon-Kim Hyung Suk team won the second-highest marks from the judges amongst the 11 teams, and they were able to seize first place thanks to the votes that came in via text.

“I wasn’t even expecting it, but I am so happy to have won first place,” Hyoyeon said, thanking her partner afterwards.

Judge Song Seung Hwan remarked, “I enjoyed your mysterious tango dance. Now that it’s been three weeks, I think your charm is truly starting to shine.” Kim Joo Won also added, “You guys look good performing a mature dance. It was great,” giving them a smile.

SM Entertainment artists head to LA for “SMTOWN Live World Tour III”

SM Entertainment artists Super Junior, SHINee, Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, EXO, and f(x) were recently spotted at the renowned Incheon International Airport as they departed Korea to Los Angeles, California.

The SM artists are heading to Los Angeles for their “SMTOWN Live World Tour III“ concert on May 20th at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The day after this concert, Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, and Super Junior will be heading to Mountain View, California for MBC’s ‘Korean Music Wave in Google’ concert.

Jessica's 2010 Prediction Comes True!

In 2010, Jung Hyungdon and Jessica, among others, appeared as guests on the KBS program “Happy Birthday”. That particular episode focused on Korea’s low birth rate and encouraged couples to have more children in order to rectify the problem. Thus, Hyungdon, as a newlywed on the show, received many questions about his future plans for having children.

Among the many comments given by the other guests concerning Hyungdon and his prospective family, Jessica jokingly informed him that he was going to have twins. Two years later, however, her prediction actually turned out to be correct: on May 16, Hyungdon announced that his wife is seven weeks pregnant and expecting twins.

As soon as this announcement became public, many people became excited for a variety of reasons. In addition to sending their heartfelt congratulations to Hyung Don, some “netizens” also commented on Jessica’s newly discovered skill, making observations such as “she knew it was a joke but who knew it would come true?” Others suggested that she “open a fortune-telling shop” to further explore her hidden talent.

Taeyeon reveals the secret to maintaining her figure

Girls’ Generation member Taeyeon, who is currently promoting as a member of sub-unit TaeTiSeo, revealed the secret to maintaining her ideal figure.

During a recent recording for SBS E! TV ‘TV Cult Two Show – Talking With The Stars‘, Taeyeon left her fans dumbfounded when she remarked that her secret to remaining trim was to eat instant ramen late at night.

She then explained, “But I don’t sleep after I eat,” revealing the important detail behind her secret. Taeyeon also denied rumors about Girls’ Generation eating 900 calories a day saying, “How can we possibly live off 900 calories a day?”

Netizens did not seem to be satisfied with her trick to staying slim as they responded, “Even so, how can she stay so slim when she eats instant ramen,” “She must have another trick up her sleeve,” and “I need to sleep less.”

Which members do Sungmin and Jessica have cute complaints about?

On May 18th, Girls‘ Generation‘s Jessica, Super Junior‘s Sungmin, and f(x)‘s Luna made a guest-appeareance on tvN‘s ‘TAXI‘.

In this episode, MC Lee Young Ja asked Jessica, “Out of all the members, which member fits in the least well?“, to which Jessica confessed that it was the maknae, Seohyun. “The members all eat and enjoy food like snacks and hamburgers, but Seohyun will only eat the things she packed herself like vegetables, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes,” she explained.

To this, Sungmin humorously added, “If you put it that way, then all our members fit in well. We have cheap tastes, so we will gobble up anything that you throw at us,” causing the cast to laugh.

Sungmin then went on to reveal the member he believed to be the one that doesn’t fit in with the group as well as the rest by stating, “Yesung has to sing a lot of high parts so he starts warming up his throat in the car in the morning when we are driving around to go to our schedules. We are all tired so we try to sleep, but it’s difficult because he keeps making loud noises.” This prompted Jessica to add, “Seohyun is the same. She’ll turn on music and keep singing along to it, but she is our baby so it’s cute“.
