Taetiseo’s ‘Twinkle’ is the highest ranking Korean album on the ‘Billboard 200′

Girls’ Generation‘s sub-unit Taetiseo has become the highest ranking Korean artist on the AmericanBillboard charts!

The girls’ debut mini-album, ‘Twinkle‘, ranked at 126th place on the ‘Billboard 200′, the board’s main album chart. This is the highest achievement recorded by a Korean artist to date, and considering that this is a Korean album, not an official American debut, the feat is that much more astounding.

SM Entertainment stated, “We were able to confirm the widespread popularity of the group from music fans all over the world through this achievement. Without any local promotions, the girls were able to rank the highest for a Korean artist in the Billboard’s 200, as well as ranking first on the World Album Chart, and second on the Heatseekers Chart.”

An online portal site displayed the photo above with the caption, “Shin Se Kyung, Kim Sarang, and Tiffany wearing the same one piece“.

The three lovely ladies were shown wearing the same flower-print dress with a red sash tied at the waist. Though it was the same look, the girls managed to bring out their individual charms.

The way Kim Sarang wore the one piece showed off her slim figure and gave off a very feminine feel, while Shin Se Kyung gave off more of an innocent image, and Tiffany‘s look well enhanced her classically unique and fresh charm.

Tiffany reveals secrets to maintaining her beauty

Girls’ Generation member Tiffany who recently participated in the debut of subgroup ‘TaeTiSeo‘ with fellow members Taeyeon and Seohyun revealed her secrets to maintaining her flawless beauty.

On the May 3rd episode of MBC‘s ‘Joo Byung Jin’s Talk Show‘, Tiffany garnered the full attention of the female viewers with her tricks to remaining beautiful.

“All you need to do is consistently take care of yourself,” she began. “If you want to become more beautiful, you must keep busy. I sleep early and wake up early, I go to skin care professionals, and drink a lot of water.”

Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk who mistakenly thought Tiffany was in love with him remarked, “They say that you grow more beautiful when you fall in love, and you look extremely beautiful these days. Is there a particular reason for that?”

“I actually did a musical with [Eunhyuk] oppa,” Tiffany said with a laugh. “I think he became delusional since then,” confirming that the two were just good friends.

Hyoyeon shines on MBC's 'Dancing with the Stars 2'

On May 2nd, Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon showed off her mature and confident beauty as she performed her first dance routine with her partner for the recording of MBC’s ‘Dancing with the Stars 2′.

On the first episode of ‘Dancing with the Stars 2′, which aired on April 27th, Hyoyeon, who is known to be an outstanding dancer even among the many girl groups, showed a certain level of awkwardness and discomfort with her same-aged partner due to the amount of physical contact that was happening between them. However, regardless of the worries she had at the beginning, Hyoyeon was able to capture the audience with her alluring eyes and powerful movements, creating a turn of events.

Other than Hyoyeon, the other contestants such as actors Sunwoo Jaeduk, Lee Hoon, Choi Yeo Jin, Ye Ji Won, soccer player Song Jong Gook, kick-boxer Denis Kang, architect Kim Won Chul, singer Tony Ahn, entertainer Choi Eun Kyung, pocket-ball player Kim Gayoung and rhythmic gymnast Shin Suji all performed their dances on stage, and actors Lee Duk Hwa and Kim Gyuri hosted the show.

Meanwhile, ‘Dancing with the Stars 2′ will air tonight (May 4th) at 9:55pm KST.

TaeTiSeo makes a "Twinkle" debut on Music Bank!

Girl’s Generation’s first ever sub-unit, TaeTiSeo, finally made their debut with first mini album “Twinkle”. And just as everyone had expected, the album dominated local music charts, as well as landed on prominent spots on the iTunes music charts.

On May 4th, TaeTiSeo - comprised of Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun, kicked off their much-anticipated debut performance on KBS ‘Music Bank’ and performed their title track “Twinkle”. 

Although many fans wished that there were more members of Girl’s Generation in TaeTiSeo, many fans were pleased by the grouping of three vocal powerhouses of Girl’s Generation.
