Yoona Attracts Attention on 'Strong Heart'

Actress Song Chaehwan’s daughter, Park Soyul, and Girls’ Generation had a beauty competition.

On November 8th, during SBS’s “Strong Heart”, Song Chaehwan guest-starred with her daughter Park Soyul. Soyul appeared on SBS’s “Star Junior Show Boonguh Bbang”, where she gained the nickname “Little Yoona” with her cute face.

Song Chaehwan explained, “I’ve wanted to meet Girls’ Generation, especially Yoona.” Following her cute self-introduction, Soyul shyly said, “I’m happy I got to meet Yoona unnie. She’s really pretty.” Song Chaehwan then asked her daughter, “Am I pretty? Or is Yoona unnie pretty?” to which she replied, “You are!”

Netizens who watched the show commented, “You’d believe they are sisters”, “She took her parents’ good facial features”, and, “Continue to grow beautifully.”

Also on the same episode of “Strong Heart”, it was mentioned that actress Jin Se-yeon garnered attention as “Jamwon-dong Yoona”.

Jin Se-yeon revealed her unique relationship with Girls’ Generation member Yoona.

Jin Se-yeon stated, “I heard I had a connection with a Girls’ Generation member. It’s a bit embarrassing saying it myself, but I was called “Jamwon-dong Yoona” for a short period of time.”

MC Lee Seunggi then asked Yoona, “What do you think?”, and Yoona relied, “I saw her in the waiting room and was surprised. There is a similar feel. But, she’s so pretty.”

Jin Se-yeon waved her hands and said, “Yoona unnie’s prettier.” Boom caused laughter by commenting, “There are Yoonas in different areas. Hwayangri Yoona, Jamwon-dong Yoona, there are a lot.”

Yuri reveals how SNSD orders chicken on ‘Strong Heart’

SNSD‘s Yuri revealed the group’s secret to ordering from their favorite chicken place on the recent broadcast of ‘Strong Heart‘.

Yuri explained, “We have a different way of ordering fast food. We were ordering from the chicken place that we do advertisements for, but they told us the delivery would take one hour.” Apparently, the girls were so hungry that they couldn’t wait that long, and they decided to tell the chicken shop that they were SNSD.

The group had to go to some length to prove their identity, however, as Yuri went on to reveal that the members ended up singing the song from the chicken commercial. The plan seemed to have worked well as Yuri went on, “We ordered so much from that chicken place that we have at least ten fliers of coupons.”

SNSD’s Tiffany, Taeyeon, and YoonA also starred as guests on the episode.

“Little Yoona & Taeyang” appear on Strong Heart

Veteran actress Song Chae Hwan guest-starred on the November 8th episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘ and introduced her two kids.

The actress revealed that she had given birth to both of her two children in water, after hearing that it was good for the baby.

She revealed, “I gave birth to my first daughter like that, and people told me she was ugly when she was born. Even my own mother told me she was ugly.”

After sharing her story, she called in her two children and introduced them to everyone on set, and everyone was shocked once they made their appearance.

Her daughter Park Soul resembled SNSD‘s Yoona, and her son Park Yesung resembled Big Bang‘sTaeyang- neither one of them were ugly in the least.

The two ended the show by exclaiming, “Strong Heart, every Tuesday night!”, which caused everyone on set to laugh warm-heartedly.

Also appearing on this episode were SNSD’s Taeyeon, Yuri, and Tiffany, as well as Seo Kyung Suk, Son Ho Young, Kim Ji Hyun, Lee Hongki, Chin Sae Yeon, Sah Yuri, Lee Byung Jin, Kim Young Chul, Kim Hyo Jin, Jung Joori, Cho Chung Rin, and Boom.

Lee Seunggi admits he's happy meeting his ideal type Yoona

Singer/actor Lee Seunggi expresses his feelings for SNSD's Yoona when she appeared in Strong Heart.

On the Nov 8th episode of Strong Heart, SNSD members appeared including Yoona who is Lee Seunggi's ideal type for 3 years.

Seunggi has been teased by other guests and revealed that it's Yoona who is his ideal type for 3 years. A guest said, "You're that happy?" and Seunggi admitted, "Yes I'm so happy."

He said, "Actually I'm worried when i was informed that Yoona will be one of the guests," while Yoona on the other hand said, "People are worrying when I said that I will appear at Strong Heart. It is because I talk a lot of silly things."

Boom laugh and said, "When Yoona talk, everything going to be serious."

On the show also, Yoona reveals her ideal type who is someone who pats her head or compliment her.

Girls' Generation Clarifies Rumours About Their Diet

On the 8th of November, Girls’ Generation made an appearance on SBS Strong Heart, and they cleared up past rumours about their diet.

Yuri said, “There seems to be a lot of rumours about Girls’ Generation. The most absurd one was that we eat 1500 calories a day, and that we only eat 8 pieces of broccoli and 1 sweet potato a meal. But in actual fact, I think we might eat 1500 calories in just one meal.”

Tiffany also surprised everyone by adding, “I think we even eat up to 3000 calories a meal. We eat so much that our manager oppas said that our food bills total up to more than that of Super Junior’s.”

After watching the show which was aired last night, Netizens have left comments such as “Of course. They don’t sleep well and have to dance and sing, they should be eating well.” and “They even eat late-night meals, that’s surprising!”

On another note, the members of Girls’ Generation who were present also made people laugh by saying that they once got chicken delivered faster from the chicken store they advertise for by singing the commercial song for it through the phone. Yuri said that the person on the phone had told them that they were busy, and that the delivery would take about an hour.

However, the girls couldn’t wait for such a long time, so Yuri called the delivery line again and told them, “Actually… we’re Girls’ Generation. Do you think we could get it a little faster?” But the person on the phone didn’t believe her and hung up on her. Yuri then went on to explain that she wanted to prove them right, so she called the delivery line back a third time and the girls all sang the commercial song for the chicken through the phone. After that, the chicken they ordered arrived in 15 minutes.

Also, on this particular episode of Strong Heart in which Girls’ Generation made an appearance, the viewer ratings increased by 2.2% from 9.9% to 12.1%.

2011 MAMA 'You'll Be Able To See TVXQ and Girls' Generation"

SM Entertainment’s singers are planning on attending the 2011 MAMA awards ceremony.

During the ’2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards(MAMA)’ press conference that was held at the Sangam CGV on the 1st of November, Production Director Shin Hyung Gwan of CJ E&M was asked if SM singers would attend the awards ceremony this year, to which he replied, “Our conflict with SM has been resolved,” and hinted at the possibility of the singers’ appearance.

He continued to emphasize, “The awards ceremony isn’t for a specific entertainment agency. It’s one that recognizes the artistes who have been the most active throughout the year.”

In this year’s MAMA, TVXQ have been nominated for the ‘Best Male Group’ and ‘Best Dance Performance by a Male Group’ awards, Girls’ Generation have been nominated for the ‘Best Female Group’ and ‘Best Dance Perofmrance by a Female Group’ awards while f(x) has been nominated for the ‘Best Female Group’ award.

The 2011 MAMA ceremony will be aired live at 7p.m. in Singapore on the 29th.

The 2010 MAMA ceremony in Macao became a hot controversy when it was boycotted by select entertainment agencies.
