Peek a boo with Soshi and Daum Store View!

On October 10th, Daum Communication announced that a Store View campaign, with SNSD as the advertising model, which be launched where users can participate for various prizes.

This time, the Store View Campaign will be drawing out random lucky users from PC, mobile and digital signage services. Prizes like iPad and movie tickets will be given.

The ‘Finding the hidden Soshi in Store View in 30 days’ event will be held online until November 5th. During this event, hints like “It’s the day to eat brunch, please go to the café at Samcheong Dong and visit Store View” will be given to the users, which allow them to look for one hidden SNSD member each day, through visiting relevant Store View places.

Once users manage to find the SNSD members, they will be eligible automatically to participate in the lucky draw. Every week, one user will be receiving an iPad, while 100 users will win Dunkin Original Coffee coupons.

Asian Singers to Gather in Daegu for Asia's Biggest Pop Concert

Asia Song Festival, the region's largest annual popular music event, will take place in Daegu on Saturday featuring 13 pop stars from six Asian countries: Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Thailand.

Super Junior, Girls' Generation, Beast and Lee Seung-gi are just some of the bands representing Korea. Super Junior's Dong-hae and Seo-hyun from Girls' Generation will sing a duet for the theme song "Dreams Come True." The song is due to be released on Tuesday, with all the proceeds to be donated to UNICEF.

Japanese pop group Perfume will also perform along with seven-member band AAA, noted for its electrifying dance moves, Chinese singer Zhou Bichang and Tata Young, a Thai singer who has made inroads into Japan and the U.S.

The Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, which is hosting the festival, said, "Over 40,000 free tickets have been all handed out, so we plan to release 3,000 more online on Wednesday that are currently being held in reserve. This will be a great opportunity for people to come and enjoy popular music from all over Asia."

On October 10th, SBS Contents Hub announced, “SNSD were chosen as the Stars for October on SBS Gorilla’s ‘Star Channel’ which enables the viewers to watch videos of their chosen favorite stars, 24 hours a day for one month”.

In October, shows which featured SNSD like SBS TV ‘Kim JungEun’s Chocolate’, ‘Intimate Note 3′, ‘Running Man’, ‘SBS Gayo Daejun’, ‘SBS Inkigayo’, ‘Strong Heart’, etc will be aired.

Yuiri and Sooyoung 3 years ago photo stirs attention

A 3 years ago photo of SNSD's Yuri, Sooyoung and actress Kim Yeo Jin is garnering interest.

The photo was uploaded in an online community site on October 8th around 2PM.

From the photo, Kim wrapped her hands around Yuri and Sooyoung's shoulders showing their closeness. The images of Yuri and Sooyoung as pure and innocent back then from their current image now attracted attention. The photo was taken from Children’s Antipoverty Campaign way back December of 2008.

Girls' Generation Confirms Comeback Date! 少女时代 最新的回归日期消息！

SM Entertainment previously announced the postponement of Girls' Generation's 3rd album release date in order to reinforce the plans of having a worldwide release of “The Boys”.

Fans as well as other artists who were scheduled to comeback in October, have been anxiously anticipating the date of SNSD’s comeback.

According to multiple music broadcasters, Girls' Generation will release their 3rd studio album "The Boys" on October 19th and will hold their first comeback stage on October 21st through KBS‘s Music Bank. The date was exactly 2 weeks after the originally scheduled date.

Meanwhile, Girls' Generation has released individual teaser photos and two music video teasers for the upcoming comeback track "The Boys".

SNSD Sunny really cut her hair short?

With their upcoming third album, ‘The Boys”, Girls’ Generation’s Sunny revealed the truth behind her blonde, short haircut, which was seen in the second teaser video.

Sunny and Seohyun recently were guests for the KBS2 talk show “Hello”. The recording of the episode of “Hello” in which they appeared was revealed live through Daum on October 9th.

During the recording, when Sunny was asked about her blonde, short haircut seen in the teaser, she said, “I didn’t cut it, it was just a wig.”

This episode of “Hello” will be aired on the October 17th at 11:05pm (KST).
