SNSD’s Sooyoung attends Woongjin Coway event, thanks fans for their concerns

On the 27th, SNSD‘s Sooyoung along with some of her fellow members attended Woongjin Coway‘s charity event titled, ‘A beautiful auction with SNSD‘.

Back on August 28th, Sooyoung was on her way to do volunteer work when a vehicle driving in the opposite direction crossed over and hit their vehicle. Sooyoung suffered fractures in her bones as a result, and was admitted into the hospital for treatment.

It seems she has made a full recovery as she looked happy and healthy at the charity event and stated, “Thank you everyone for being here. Thank you also for being so concerned when I was in the hospital. I’m much better now, and stronger.”

Fellow members Tiffany and Taeyeon stated, “We’re going to be making a comeback with our 3rd album. We hope you look forward to it and ask for your support!”

The SNSD ladies were auctioning off the clothing that they wore when they shot an advertisement for the Woongjin Coway brand. The proceeds of the auction will go towards helping the less fortunate. The online auction will run until the end of October on cowaygirls.com.

Jang Geun seok and Yoona's first shooting

Hallyu star Jang Geun-seok and Girl's Generation Yoona's new drama "Love Rides the Rain" started shooting.

The first shot took place in Daegu on the 24th. Besides the director, Jang Geun-seok, Yoona, Kim Si-hoo, Son Eun-seo,Hwang Bo-ra, Seo In-guk and others were also there.

After a big shout out of 'fighting', the actors and actresses went through extreme changes to fit into the background which was in the 1970s. Goody student Jang Geun-seok, elegant and innocent Yoona as a college girl, Kim Si-hoo, Son Eun-seo, Hwang Bo-ra and Seo In-guk styling hairstyles that was 'in' at that time.

Despite the week-end, so many fans gathered around the set to take a look.

PD Yoon said, "Starting something new is always a good and happy thing. The start can be a dream and the dream can be made if everyone works hard". Jan Geun-seok said, "Everything about the preparations for the movie such as the lightings, the fresh campus and others make me feel good. Every cut seems like a piece of work".

Yoona said, "Thanks to the directors way of talking, how detailed he is, we were able to wrap up today's shoot very well. I am glad we look good on screen".

Meanwhile, known as the 2nd "Winter Sonata", "Love Rides the Rain" will be aired next year.

SNSD auctions off their ‘Woongjin Coway’ outfits and props for charity

On September 27th, SNSD attended a charity auction for single women breadwinners called the ‘Beautiful Auction’ in collaboration with their endorsement brand, ‘Woongjin Coway‘.

‘Woongjin Coway’ came up with the idea of auctioning off the outfits and accessories SNSD wore in their CF to help raise funds for the charity. The charity aims to support women in building new lives and independence.

The members of SNSD personally autographed the items and posed for reporters next to an autographed water purifier. Check out photos from the event below!

Two photos of SNSD‘s Yuri and Sooyoung were recently shared on an online community site and have been attracting a great deal of attention from netizens.

Both ladies are currently enrolled in Chung-Ang University in Seoul, and despite their busy schedules and preparations for their upcoming comeback to the music scene, had time to stop and sign some autographs for their fellow students.

In the photos, Yuri is wearing a casual yet trendy outfit, comprised of a simple white t-shirt under a red plaid button-down top. Sooyoung is also looking like a lovely college student with a cute beige jacket over a pink shirt.
