SNSD unveils Sunny & Hyoyeon’s comeback photos for ‘The Boys’!

It’s barely been a day since SNSD‘s full comeback date was officially announced, yet fans are already clamoring over the return, fervently awaiting the latest teasers to be released. Just moments earlier,SM Entertainment unveiled two more teasers featuring Sunny and Hyoyeon!

Like Taeyeon‘s photo, Sunny and Hyoyeon’s photos both carry auras of elegance while stunning fans with the ladies’ new looks. Sunny wears a red hood and ruffled cream dress with heavy eyeliner and side-swept blonde hair. Hyoyeon sports a short blonde bob with flowers dramatically accenting her head, with unconventional make-up to match.

With these three releases, fans have been attempting to piece together what this track concept will be. Many speculated that there would be an underlying fairytale theme, as Taeyeon holds a red apple in her hand like Snow White and Sunny’s outfit alludes to the Red Riding Hood. Though not a fairytale character, many fans are already exclaiming that Hyoyeon’s piercing stare is reminiscent of the Parisian Amélie.

Longer preview of “Running Man – SNSD Special” revealed

Yesterday, we revealed a short preview of the ‘SNSD special‘ from the popular SBS show, “Running Man“. A longer clip recently hit the web, giving fans a better look at what’s to come.

Members YoonA, Seohyun, Jessica, Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, and Yuri paired up with the six male cast members of the show to complete their respective missions and have some fun. The missions reportedly consisted of ‘Couple look parade’, ‘Picnic’, ‘Couple karaoke’, and more.

A first look at SNSD’s YoonA in her new drama, “Love Rain”

Earlier, we reported that SNSD‘s YoonA landed the lead female role in a new drama called “Love Rain“. A snapshot from the drama set has just been revealed, showing off YoonA’s new look for the series.

In this photo, YoonA exuded the charm of an innocent college student from the ’70s. Her white one-piece dress, burgundy cardigan, and mary jane shoes highlight a quiet beauty; meanwhile, her pose of holding her textbooks to her chest makes her seem shy and reserved.

Netizens commented, “YoonA landed a role that suits her perfectly“, “Even just the picture alone is very delicate“, and “She makes going down the steps look difficult.”

A picture of Yoona was uploaded in web and attracts attention. It seemed that the picture was taken from "Love Rain" shooting where she was casted as one of the protagonist.

In the picture she is wearing an old school uniform. She is wearing a plain dress and a maroon cardigan with books in her arms and a pink sling bag.

She really looks like a typical college student with those shoes and white socks.

The drama ‘Love Rain’ will air on the 1st quarter of 2012.

J-League players impersonate SNSD

A group in Japan imitating SNSD has become a topic of discussion recently. The interesting fact is that these impersonators are not singers but professional football players.

On September 26th, Japan’s ‘Sports Nikkan’ reported on this group dubbed as ‘Muscles Generation’. Recently, there was an event to commemorate the 20th anniversary founding of J-League football club, Kashima Antlers. It was a free entry event held at Kashima’s football stadium where fans were treated with various enjoyable activities.

During this event, Kashima Antlers players were applauded for the performances that they had prepared for the fans. Particularly, one of the performances by a group inspired by SNSD called ‘Muscles Generation’ which received overwhelming response from the crowd.

The 7-member group appeared on stage with colorful tight jeans, much to the amusement of the fans. After announcing themselves as Japan’s ‘Muscles Generation’, they proceeded to perform comic dances to the music played. Seeing their players’ different images carved smiles and laughters on the faces of the football fans.

The news about ‘Muscles Generation’ performances by Kashima Antlers’ players have garnered much interest among Japanese netizens.

SM confirms Sooyoung will rejoin SNSD for their October comeback

Representatives of SM Entertainment have revealed that member Sooyoung has recovered enough to rejoin SNSD for their comeback on October 4th.

On September 26th, representatives spoke through TV Report and revealed, “Sooyoung is fortunately able to join the girls for their comeback. She herself was strongly determined to be there. We will be constantly checking on her condition during their promotions.”

Sooyoung recently opted out of SNSD’s performances in Tokyo and Taipei in order to focus on her recovery. Her decisions paid off, as her fracture was revealed to be in a good stage of recovery. She’s currently rehearsing the choreography with SNSD, making sure not to overwork herself.

Representatives continued, “Sooyoung is trying not to go overboard and is checking on her condition throughout their rehearsals. They’ll all be focusing on their rehearsals until their comeback to create the best stage possible.”
