SNSD fans donated 180kg of rice to the Daniel Social Welfare Corporation during SNSD’s solo concert at the Seoul Olympic Park Stadium on July 23rd.

It was a meaningful act of charity to donate in the name of SNSD to Daniel Social Welfare Corporation, a facility in SeoCho dedicated to providing moral support to more than 100 intellectually-challenged people in order to help them gain self-confidence and being able to stand on their own feet, as well as to spread love and hope to young, handicapped children.

Representatives of the welfare organization stated, “There are a lot of SNSD fans receiving help from the welfare organization so they would be really happy to receive rice donations in SNSD’s names.”

They continued, “The acts of sending congratulatory rice instead of congratulatory flower stands to celebrities such as SNSD will popularize the idea of donating to charity. We look forward to the spread of love and donations through celebrities.”

Yuri reveals cute selcas

Yuri revealed a set of 4 selcas recently.

On August 1st, a post with the attached selcas entitled ‘Yuri, the goddess with pictorial-like selcas’ was published on an online community board.

A fan club of SNSD advertised Tiffany's birthday

SNSD’s fan cafe Sisters advertised Tiffany’s birthday on a daily magazine to celebrated her 23rd birthday.

One of the members of Sisters said, “I still can’t forget their second solo concert. Many fans already miss them, and I hope that Tiffany’s smile will make them happy once again. I sincerely congratulate you on your birthday, and give you my best wishes.”

Sisters did some volunteer work at Kids Foundation, Chungbuk Branch on the 17th, which was Tiffany’s birthday, and they are also planning to donate their happy beans.

Meanwhile, a Taiwanese fan club Tiffany’s House sent her birthday gifts, and Sisters is planning to gather other Korean fans’ gifts and deliver them to her.
